I just plowed through a fairly large short story in 48 hours.
Can't give any details yet, including word count, until the judging is over. It was part of the /fic/ write-off event.
After it's been judged, I'll be able to polish it up, slap a cover image on it, and present it to you folks here. It isn't related to either Through the Well of Pirene nor A Mile in Her Shoes, but hopefully you'll like it. Might give me another direction to go in. I'll post it up as a Complete story, if I have any others in that series I'll make a blog post and link to them, if it comes to it.
Speaking of my other fics, Chapter 8 of Pirene is proving very challenging. I need to redraft a chunk of it for certain, though the rest seems all right. Once I've finished there, my stated and continuing plan is to work on some fics, and then A Mile in Her Shoes.
For Chapter 3 of Through the Well of Pirene, editing should be completed within the month. Ideally, my new set of editors will finish all of the fics in the upcoming months, as they are done with school until next Fall season.
