These four stories have been dormant for a long time now.
Almost all of them haven't seen any updates in well over a year.
Ruins in particular is a story I gradually lost interest in writing alongside my fading interest in G5.
I feel like just about everything save for Ruins can more or less be considered long-since dead at this point. Even cannibalized for ideas in some cases (lookin' at you, Worlds Reset.)
So, I come to y'all with a question.
Should I finally cut the ever-thinning lifelines that these four stories are holding onto?
I feel like at the very least, I should perhaps keep Ruins around on hiatus. It was still enjoyable to write while I had the interest to invest into it. Just that, that interest has sort of faded, as mentioned before. But there's always a chance for it to return.
Lab Horse: Redux and Wielder of the Orb: Third Time's the Charm are both reboots of their namesake stories from long ago, both with deep roots in my history here on Fimfiction. I distinctly remember that some ideas that ended up in one or the other would eventually find their way into later works, with Wielder of the Orb's reboot in particular bringing forward my take on the concept of a limbo realm that has since appeared multiple times in at least one or two other fics. Though I'll still hold them close for what they once represented to me personally, they have both very much been superseded by newer stories.
And lastly, Worlds Reset, the perennial ugly duckling of a story that I often forget that I even wrote. To an extent, I think I can very much say that this story alongside old ideas from Wielder of the Orb together formed the basis for what is now Fractures. But more immediately relevant to this exact day is that Worlds Reset was directly replaced by Splintershard. Both stories feature a wrecked Equestria, still reeling from the effects of some vaguely-mentioned event that is slowly revealed as the story progresses.
The difference is, Worlds Reset ran itself into a wall, and then into a corner after that.
To this day, I have no idea how to continue the story.
Of the four fics on hiatus, this one I feel absolutely needs to go.
So, returning to the original question:
Which of these fics are you fine with seeing scrapped for good? You may select multiple options.
I'm fine with all of them except Ruins tbh; I still hold a candle for it and its premise, and it'd be cool to have a, albeit small, hope for it someday if it's a possibility!

Do what you are passionate about and want to see come to fruition, man. It's your free time and your hobby, your creative exploration of oneself. Don't waste it on something that you considered a dead end
I'll admit that Ruins is my favourite fic of yours so it being cancelled would be sad for me. But you gotta do what's the most fulfilling for you artistically.

I forgot to post this, sorry.
I genuinely respect that. Not only do I not see a reason to delete fics, it wouldn't be right for those who did enjoy what was there. And i personally woild also leave it up for the enjoyment and inspiration of others.
So now on to my perspective: even if you "cancel" them, if you get hit with inspiration one day for a continuation or even a rewrite, you can always dig it up and bring it back. Forcing multiple things to live can drain you. I say keep Ruins and probably cancel/forget the rest for now. Focus on whatever projects you want right now and maybe keep Ruins alive.
It's a small hope, but hope nonetheless.
Just know that you have 31 (or maybe more, translation was liked 142 times) additional readers who will wait for the next chapter...
