time really flies. it's strange to realize that an appreciable chunk of my life has gone by since i started in this fandom just three years ago, and how much my life has changed since then.
and looking back, for a variety of reasons, the time when i found the fandom happened to be one of the lowest points of my life. but there is one thing i miss. writing was this brand-new thing, and i had no idea what i was doing, so i just did whatever, and had fun. i had these ideas i had to get out of my head, and so i did, resulting in that burst of creativity in my early catalog, rough edges and all.
my output has slowed down since then, and it's been about two and a half years since i've written something that wasn't rushing for a deadline. and i do want to change that! there are a lot of ideas in here that have been piling up over the years, and life is sadly finite. three years gone already. before i know it, it will be ten, then thirty, then who knows how much left to express them, or who will be around to hear.
if you're reading this, and are someone who looks forward to these stories and ideas of mine, thank you so much for being here! i hope i can come through on delivering on them. otherwise, here's to many more years of reading, commenting, and writing ahead of me!
The longer you've been on the site, the crazier it gets. Just yesterday, one of my followers and sometimes pre-readers commented that it was the tenth anniversary of one of my stories . . . and at least one reader is watching with trepidation as another rapidly approaches its ten-year anniversary.
It's crazy to look back, to reflect on the things you've done or the people you've met, and for some people there are other IRL significant milestones along the way. Like a move or a new job or a marriage or a new kid or who knows what? The one I'm thinking about right now is that my third computer I've written FimFic stories on is dying a lingering death . . . don't ask me how many keyboards have gone over the years.
Congrats on the three years, it only gets wilder from there.

Only three years? I somehow thought you've been around much longer and I just found you (relatively) recently.
