    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

Well, because there was no TYT this week...

Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Oh, how the tables turn. · 9:19pm Sep 3rd, 2023

So, apparently Starfield's pronoun preference during character creation is making the right lose their shit in a very similar manner that Hogwarts Legacy made the left lose theirs earlier this year.

The lesson here is easy:
Extremists, on both sides, are perpetually miserable sacks of crap.

Haven't tried Starfield yet myself, waiting until the 6th when it's free on Game Pass.

Extremists, on both sides, are perpetually miserable sacks of crap.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Both sides are utterly bucked up on every level possible.

Extremist trying not to make anything political after someone/something doesn't agree or care about them and their ideals.
Mission:
- Impossible.

they are forcing me to use it?
if not
I don't see the point
until people I get banned for using the 'wrong one' in simple conversation, this is a silly thing to be upset about
RPG: Role Playing Game, if you want to pretends to be a Potato, or Eldritch Horror, you can sillies :pinkiecrazy:

What are the pronoun options? Just an added they/them? Or did they get fun with it? The future has gotta have some crazy pronouns.

For all the hype that’s been following the game thus far, and after all the grandiose promises of how big the game is; I might be just a little disappointed if I can’t use the manufacturer of my current ship’s engine for my character’s chosen pronown.
But I guess I can just pick They/Them and pretend that the whole universe refers to me as the in-world corporation that makes my ship go zoom zoom ramming speed into pirates because fuck pirates.
Nobody’s paying me to complain about options in a video game.

Political Correctness really needs to die.

You and me both. It's gotten out of hand when it comes to all of us just wanting to enjoy life and not have the PC crowd tamper with everything. It sucks seeing how both sides have become so toxic to everything they look at, especially when it comes to video games.

5745113
That's why I only play console. Aaaayyy!

5745114
Booo! Get off the stage!

There were similar explosive rants over the fact that the Dead Space remake added gender neutral bathrooms. You know, a minor change that has no affect on gameplay or story whatsoever.

I completely missed that in creation because it's a Bethesda title they don't do faces well so I just pick a preset and slam a helmet over the ugly mug.

I'm more surprised they did not get more upset over baldurs gate 3 where I can just have dragon dick flopping about.

Absolutely insane lunatics

Ooohhhh nooooooooo!! Not pronouns!!

Someone should tell them about No Man's Sky, where your character is basically genderless.

A few months ago the far right were very publicly losing their little minds over the Barbie movie, something that attributed it to making over a billion dollars.

When extremists from any part of the political spectrum switch on their public outrage machines, it creates what I like to call the Marilyn Manson effect. I gave the Marilyn Manson effect its name because in the 90's and into the early 00's televangelists and other "moral crusaders" made such a big stink about Marilyn Manson that it caused people who normally would listen to his music to pick up one of his CDs just to see what all the hub bub was all about and found that it wasn't nearly as bad as all the "moral crusaders" made it out to be. My personal opinion on Marilyn Manson is that he has some good songs, but is nothing more than a mediocre shock rocker and if all the moral panic hadn't have been kicked up about him and his music, then he wouldn't have risen to anything above a fringe act.

5745144
I don't know about that. I loved his music when it came out and I was a poster boy for not caring about shock culture, to this day I find it stupid.

:Edit:
In fact he acted as my entry point into harder music.

5745159
I was just stating an opinion. I remember when he first came out and the band was called Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids, and the first album of his I heard was Smells Like Children. I'm not disparaging you for liking him, I like some of his music. It's just my opinion that when it comes to being a shock rocker, he's kind of middle of the road, nothing about his music was particularly shocking to me as I had been listening to Slayer, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Insane Clown Posse and Diecide before I encountered him. If it wasn't for the televangelists, conservative Christian parent groups and the like making such a big stink about him as they did, he wouldn't have blown up big as he did as quickly, and probably would have stayed as a fringe act for much longer.

I call it the Marilyn Manson Effect when some group on the far end of any part of the political spectrum makes such a public fuss that it winds up piquing the interest of people who might not be interested in such media under different circumstances, and when they check it out, they find that it's not such a big deal.

The game has far bigger issues then pro nouns.

I going to go tin foil hat here and say that this is a distraction from the real issues this game like it being yet another "streamlined" unoriginal and buggy mess.

You can say that about a lot of "edgy" media.

Frankly I'm tired of chronically online people talking about how much they want to hurt and even murder folks for saying something they don't like. Like criticizing this junky game and its mechanics is somehow causing them harm as a result.

5745182
It's not a bad theory.

see, the difference is that the left was upset about HL because it was full of anti-Semitist tripes, and Rowling, who wants to eradicate a certain percentage of the population, still made money from it, whereas the right are up in arms because of an inconsequential game mechanic that is inclusive to people who aren't them

5745618
This is either:
A. How little I pay attention to the views and politics of JKR, or
B. How blown out of proportion her ideals are. From what very little I've heard, JKR wants clarification between biological women, and trans women, and the services provided to them kept separate, especially in the case of services like women's shelters.

5745619
It's the former. The views she proudly expresses about the trans community are dogwhistles for those who want us dead just for existing

5745623
If it was a debate I was truly into, I'd need sources, because all I know is the women's shelter she owns is for cis women only.

I'll never patronize Limited Run Games again because they fired their community director for a 7-year old tweet.

Seven. Years.

So disgusting how the internet believes people don't grow or change. I'm fucking sick of it.

5745624
It also hard to take issues seriously on the internet when they almost always degrade into clusterfucks.
