The run of 1k fics inspired by Horslips songs continues! This one's for the 'experimental' category, and boy does it show. It'll probably crash and burn, but I had fun writing it. That's what counts, right?

This contest has been a bit of a blessing. I think I'm in a bit of a creative rut at the moment, so this has felt good (if anyone's wondering where the next Detective Rarity, the sequel to Castlefic, or that big project I teased a while back are, that's why). Maybe we'll make a full run of all the categories. Who knows?
