    Pipes Sequel

Hey y'all. I'm currently working slowly on a blog post that covers a presentation I recently gave at Everfree Northwest (on Horror, its subgenres, and my advice for writing it).

Meanwhile, a fellow member of Quills and Sofas Speedwriting, Caligari, has published an expansion of one of my stories: Pipes.

Fleeting Light Book - Now Available!

Well, it took a bit longer than I wanted, but I finally finished updating the FIMFiction versions of the stories in the Fleeting Light series—and caught like three more errors in the printed version—so the book is now officially for sale!

    Everfree and Revisions

It's just under a week away and I cannot wait, so I figured a reminder post about Everfree Northwest would be a good idea.

Fleeting Light series (Printing) · 5:14pm May 30th, 2023

I have finally gotten off my lazy behind and done what I told myself I would do after finishing this series in 2020: the entirety of A Fleeting Light in the Darkness and its three sequels will be available as a printed book, and it's coming to a Book Nook near you (if you are in or near the Seattle area during Everfree Northwest this August).

This will be available at Everfree Northwest first and then Lulu afterwards. I will be at Everfree Northwest as well, so if you buy a copy and want it signed, I will be happy to oblige.

I'm very happy with how the first proof turned out, and I'll be making some edits in the coming months to make sure the FIMFiction versions of the stories match the minor grammar and wording changes I have made to them. There have been no major content changes for this book. It even has the hidden text (which turned out fantastically on the page).

In addition, I thought that the basic covers of the stories didn't fit a physical book; much too bland, really. So, as a little teaser, here's a portion of the cover by Gotika (@RottenGotika on Twitter), who drew the "Amalgam" artwork I shared a year or so ago.

Once I have the second proof to verify the cover looks as good as it seems on my computer screen, I'll be sure to share the completed version.

I look forward to it! I would like to buy it online though as I won’t be at everfree northwest.

Congratulations mate, I know how hard you've been working on this <3

Holy shit, I had no idea I'd be drawn into buying horse books again so soon. I still have a bit of a backlog in my library.

Omg I am SO excited to get a copy of this!!

I wish I was in the area to procure a copy myself. Sincere congratulations on being able to make this a reality, it's an achievement.

AT LAST!!!
I have waited for this so much!

Hope I will be able to get a copy somewhere in the future via delivery.

Congrratulations with reaching finishing stage of your goal, to make a printed book. :)
And glad you also was able to include hidden texts as well.

(also: can't wait to see full cover art! :twilightblush:)

Evidently I'm quite behind on blogs here...

Really thrilled for you, Flash, and although I won't be able to attend EFNW this year, I very much look forward to procuring a copy via Lulu once the books are available there!

And that (preview of the) cover art! Boy howdy, does that look great.
