This sucks

So, if you have been following me, you'll know we had some plumbing issues at the house, and while I wish I had better news, this is the news I got. It's kind of mostly suck, but with slight good news, and an eventual place where things will be good for a long time.

Our pipe broke in the basement, and while they thought they could fix that altogether, it turnt out to be worse then they thought.

Bad news is the roots of the tree in our front yard, got into our pipe line and caused a break, and the whole front part needs replaced for a whopping 8500

THAT'S a big number. We already had to sign up for a specific credit card for the initial 3200 they estimated. Granted, we are willing to pay it, as long as it fixes things. But I'm just gonna throw out here that if you want to donate to help out, we would really appriciate it. We haven't even been in our house three months yet, and with mortage to pay on top of this. It's a lot. My fiance is a mailman, he's been working his ARSE off. I hate asking for help. He hates it too. But if you want I'll link my kofi below. Just remember, if you don't have money to donate it's okay. I don't want anyone else to suffer just because we're in a tough spot.

The good news is, the main pipe in basement is fixed enough to shower and flush the toilet.
And more good news is that once they do all the work, we won't have to worry about it again in our life time. So, as they say make lemonade out of lemons eh?

I'm sorry to hear that. The same (not exactly the same admittedly) happened to my aunt and it was a nightmare. I have looked into a general price range for that particular repair and can thankfully say it looks like you've got a good contractor.
It sucks, but you can pull through this and not have to worry about it again.
And you've still got your own place. That's so cool!
