Now what did Dark and Trap have there at the end I wonder? Hopefully nothing to dangerous.
Coco might have withdrawn to roam the city freely, but Spring still hansnt applied for the next deposit installment?
Not so intrested now, due to the principle?
At least teh working hoofcleaner is still just a hoofcleaner. Throw the wrong type of magic at it in juust the wrong way and instead of fixing the fault, the thing turns into a Zephyrbot and gives you a curryover.
I don't like what Spring does to Razz in this conversation. She took his "am I weak?", by which I took it to mean "weak willed and not deserving of respect", which is pretty directly applicable to his situation, the things he's been insulted as being and the things that he's worried about, and twisted it to be "you are not physically as capable as Tabitha." Who is conveniently the person Spring wants in charge.
Then proceeded to use a mixture of discouragement and shaming to stop him from from asking for the thing that she happily gave and enjoys in Tabitha... that as far as I know was not much of an actual insecurity he had. Possibly until now, because I could totally see this sparking insecurity in him.
There's probably a more technical term for it, but it seems like a verbal magic trick, where she switches the subjects to a slightly different concept without anybody noticing, and proceeds to attack the desire for that subject instead of the original one.
This reminds me of many different things where a story that has some ambitious characters winds up punishing a different character for being ambitious, because it's wrong to want what other people enjoy for some reason.
Its possible she did this out of a genuine misunderstanding as to what he's asking due to cultural stuff, but either way the conversation adds up to discourage him from wanting to be better remains the same.
Tabitha put up a much better showing in that regard until Spring got involved.
... And Coco suddenly bowing out with no real explanation is... really surprising. I presume something is up, but what?
7685593 Does there have to be an ulterior reason? Tabitha is a stressful, at times terrifying person to be around, even if it's no fault of her own.
Razz will have to rise up or wither under his own power. I have faith in the little scrapper.

Thats true. Scared off because Tabitha and Spring both rode out to battle and she was sick with worry, perhaps. But I would have expected something a bit more explicit to handle it.
... I was looking forward to seeing Razz and Coco bond, though. That's a pity.
... and I sorta agree, er... hope, perhaps that Razz is a fighter.
The thing is... he is at his best when he is enthusiastic and unfettered. I think he has the potential to be caring and optimistic and even pretty willful. But the whole "beta/childish/irresponsible" accusations that came in earlier and is persisting with Spring, puts a damper on him. It builds on his insecurities (and with Spring, places him at the bottom of a hierarchy), and while he's still caring through it, he has trouble with his self worth.
I am, as always, rooting for him. Not to necessary succeed at his stated goals, but to grow.
Cthulhu
I'm also moderately certain that should be connected with a dash (completely blanking on the word for that ).

Razz, sweety, of course you're a beta. You just need to stop assuming that's a negative quality.
"Well,
edit: Hyphenated! The word is hyphenated! Whew, now that's not driving me nuts anymore.

Coco's departure is so sudden and unexpected that it dominates the focus of the chapter after her announcement. I can see that you've tried to soften it as much as possible, and so I'll refrain from wild speculations that she's been coerced in some fashion. I fully accept that part of life is not knowing, but I would not mind learning a little more of what is going through her head right now.
Honestly I wonder if Tabitha's herd can survive without her calm and reasonable advice and observations.

7686481 Typos thrown out a convenient window. Ponies seem to have an uncanny grasp of popular culture.
colander, like this guy is wearing.

I wonder if the hoof pick works when the cleansee has horseshoes on ? Coco, I guess isn't suited to the life of stablemate of a caregiver, too much for her timid character, unfortunate, had hoped she would make a good anchor point for them all.
Coco breaking it off is understandable, even discounting her being an untrained in the ways of battle she's way out of the herds league. Still, her influence has been profound while she was there.
Speaking of missing persons, how is Sweetie Drops doing? We forgot what happened to her... She practically missed the whole event!
Keep going! ;)
