7432680 I know, life isn't very fair at all like that.
Well, this was unexpected, at least somewhat. I took it as a given that we'd get a new story, but I thought it would pick up directly where the old one left off, rather than focusing on a new protagonist. Still, given that this is a "Silver Verse" tale, I'm expecting this to intersect with the main narrative soon...but given that this has Coco Pommel apparently just moving into the city (I presume this is her arrival in Manehattan), then this might not pick up right where Silver's story left off. In fact, given that Silver arrived just a little while before "Rarity Takes Manehattan" (near the beginning of season four), this seems like Tabitha is arriving at very nearly the same time. If that's the case, then she'll be having her adventures parallel to Silver, which will likely cut down on the crossover potential (otherwise we'd have seen her already).
The Text is being a bit more underhanded than usual. Tabitha's initial reply made no mention of Equestria specifically, nor did the Text's follow-up email - when asking if she'd "accept" if she also received clients - specify what exactly she'd be accepting. As such, this particular incident seems much more forced than the usual "I only open doors" modus operandi that the Text takes. I recognize that there's very little way around this when bringing over a human that isn't a brony, but even so it seems a bit out-of-character for the Text.
More unusual is that Tabitha is apparently disguised as a pegasus mare, despite retaining her human form to her eyes. That's going to cause problems, if only because pegasi are expected to be able to fly, which she - as a human - decidedly cannot do. She'd have been better off as an earth pony. But that's of less concern than Coco being taken in only to somehow realize that she was a human at the last moment. My guess there is that this has to do with Coco becoming a tenant; that is, that whatever illusion is wrapped around Tabitha doesn't apply to ponies (or anyone else) who becomes a formal tenant in her building.
As for where the story goes from here, well...the sky's the limit.
Also, this story seems to have disabled giving it likes or dislikes, which I'm guessing is an error?

7432788 She'll have her own adventures to deal with. Silver isn't likely to come up in them, but this is the same universe, so the same rules apply. For instance, Nicole Foalman is nearby! There could also be other humans turning up, but ponies are far more likely. Her building has become something... special. What other properties does it wield?
Yay, a new Silververse story! But is it a side story, or some kind of sequel? Will there be some kind of Sequel or will Silver's princess shipping shenanigans just be a headline in the tabloids of other stories?

Modern computer power supplies, decent ones, are massively resiliant in DC, AC, Frequency and voltage they can pull in and turn to internal power, which most machines dont need a lot of. Still, pity losing the net conenction, means she will need to find an old dialup modem or card to use the phone, or Acoustic couple to the sound card if that routine is still buried in Extras etc.
Best times occur when a totally mismatched group of residents move in, after all, Iron Will has to stay somewhere in town. Just for one.
A New story! The same first name of a childhood sweetheart I once had has already sucked me in. Hope she finds someone to explain where she is a bit better, sounds like she doesn't know of MLP, maybe send her to Ambassador Silver? The cover picture shows a building with either 8 or 9 stories, is that bottom section in grey 1 tall foyer story or 2 storys?

Interesting story so far, and I'm eager as always to see where you're going to take it.
Tabitha accepted being called Tabby by a tenant with seemingly no concerns. It makes me wonder if she's always been cool with it, or if the force of harmony is already working on her.
The flying space squid is very HP Lovecraft, so it's probably just as well that she managed to get the door closed in time and didn't re-open it to check or we might be in search of a new protagonist already.

7438541 Me thinks "Tabby" has developed affections towards Razz already, no mention how long her and her building have been there at this point. The Tabitha I knew when I was younger that I'd made friends with didn't mind me calling her Tabby. She got stroppy when others said it though, I got closer to her than I thought at the time I guess, Thirty plus years on & still miss her, shame their family moved away.
Got told off many years ago for explaining the 4 stroke internal combustion engine cycle as Suck-Push-Bang-Blow for same reasons in high school power tech class. After boring lecture explaining this to us I asked the teacher "Then where do we use the word 'suck'? Otherwise we'd have to call it Push-Push-Bang-Blow which sounds stupid." After a moment of confusion on his face he pipes up "When writing fiction!" Yeah, right. The moral of this memory is 'Don't mess with the story when it sounds good by getting all tek-ee-nickel about it.'
