I read Soldier of Magic quite a while ago, long before I made a Fimfiction account, and remember absolutely loving your vision for the story and how you progressively "broke" Twilight's character. I found the story's progression really satisfying and also enjoyed all the exploration of Twilight's magical powers in strategic and combat scenarios (the "storage locker" power aka cartoony hammerspace). Plus, all the cool tech gadgets too!

It was long enough ago that I'm having trouble remembering many specifics but the story was a good time. Now, I'm working my way through The Princess and The Soldier as its sequel because I liked the first story so much. The interactions between Commander Sparkle and Princess Twilight are well thought-out and often funny. And I always appreciate having a non-human-centric setting since I don't normally like humans very much (you managed to get me over that hurdle with Soldier of Magic).

Also: powerful ponies. I love when tons of power to destroy or kill anything and anyone is wrapped up in a beautiful, adorable pony. Normally I love when alicorns are super powerful but I love your take on unicorn Twilight as a super-soldier, too.
