In Cloudsdale, Pegasus stallion, Lindy Fogg, has a dream of a mysterious mare. Who could she be? In Canterlot, Earth pony mare, Parfum Spritz, has a dream of a mysterious stallion. Who could he be? Could they really be the pony of each others' dreams?

Note: This story was originally going to have two chapters, but after consideration, I feel it best to add chapter two to chapter one, thus making the story a one-shot short.

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash go on a vacation to Applewood for the weekend. Having heard stories of a haunted movie palace, the CMC want to explore it in the hopes of getting their cutie marks in ghost hunting.

I am writing this story for National Pony Writing Month 2018.

This story briefly crosses over with Saddle Song the Singing Cowpony. A quick reference is made to Daring Do and the Sands of Time.

As a film buff, I have placed references to other movies and TV shows. Some are obvious, and others are a bit harder to spot. How many can you find?

Saddle Song is Applewood's newest and fastest growing star. In his latest film, he must find out who is behind the rigged rodeo, reclaim the money for the orphanage, and trot off into the sunset like any good frontier hero does.

Ever since she performed at the Helping Hooves Music Festival in Ponyville, Coloratura has begun to modify her music and shows to reflect her true self. As she makes preparations for her new tour, ponies in Canterlot are found turned to stone.

A Haunting in Canterlot is told through a series of vignettes, each focusing on different groups as they try to solve the mystery of the petrified ponies and who, or what, is behind it all.

When work finishes early at Sweet Apple Acres, Big Mac, Applejack, and Apple Bloom seek out Burnt Oak in Ponyville to hear more stories about their parents. Burnt Oak tells of Pear Butter's thank you gift to Bright Mac for repairing the water silo, and then relays the story of how Bright Mac searched for the perfect Hearts and Hooves Day present for Pear Butter.
