Currently I am without an editor as you might have noticed the quality of chapter 13 to the FoE story is not up to the standard of the others.
While I have someone working on helping with a little re-writing I do not have a dedicated editor person.

Editor with me is a paying job much like an artist. But it also like an artist has some high standards.

Both! Tea in the morning, coffee in the evening.

Tea or coffee?

Looks like something out of battletech if I'm entirely honest *Drunk Fiaura/Tread Lightly is Drunk*

No no no, I DESIGNED an MBT and requested a guy to draw it. Sci fi hovertank I call the Type 37. 135mm railgun, coax 20mm (like AMX-30), top mounted fifty and it was suppose to be designed to take a hit from the frontal arc and turret, something the artist I had didn't really put in :facehoof:

In any case I think I designed it well enough. I wanted to put it into my sci fi novel so I wanted to make sure it fits semi-realistically. Though, I'm a little rusty with repulsor theory so pardon the info dump. I'd love to see what you think! There might be more fan art for you if you take a look :pinkiehappy:

Crew: 2 with AI assistant
Hull FSR: 500, 350, 90
Turret FSRT: 450, 400, 90, 45
Armor Modifiers: (AP/HE, HEAT, LASER): 1.8, 3.5, 0.75
Max Speed (Rarely achieved/used): 96kph
0-32kph: 8 seconds
Gun Depression: -10
Hull Traverse: 120d/s
Turret Traverse: 90d/s
Reload time: 7.8 seconds with autoloader
Main Gun Penetration: 975mm with latest APFSDS

Features: Each grav panel under the vehicle acts like a separate wheel, meaning you'd have to knock out a majority of the 14 panels to immobilize the vehicle or score a hit to the battery compartment or fission/plasma generator for a "battery kill" or "generator kill."
Fission reactor is actually quite small, roughly the size of a grapefruit (thanks to your research on the 40K vid BTW!) But lead lined to ensure both armor and crew radiation protection. Ammo (for the most part) is nonexplosive as it mostly relies on KE shells with few HE stocked, meaning it it difficult to ammo rack. The tank CAN operate with just AI alone but a crew is needed for optimal battlefield performance. Should the crew be sufficiently wounded in battle the AI will RTB to save their lives. Gunner and driver have access to 360 degree view thanks to multiple cameras located on the hull each behind a plate of armored glass with NV and IR as standard. There is also a cold plasma shield rated to withstand seven million joules of kinetic force.

Flaws: Plasma shield drops when the main gun fires due to power consumption and is disabled for several seconds. Top armor is extremely weak for a sci fi tank and easily penned by top attack ATGMs. Also the vehicle lacks any manual vision ports so in the event the driver or gunner has all their cameras disabled they have to turn out of the tank to see. Some variants do have a complex non-newtonian regenerative armor but the experimental armor is only as strong as concrete and heavier than the standard composite. Also the because the vehicle is a skimmer it is difficult to stop and crews are advised to get used to the floaty nature of the tank, least they round a corner and keep going thanks to inertia.

It happens it is still a good one to draw and the original leopard 1 lacked a gun mantle.
