So, I'm around halfway finished writing chapter 3 of The Darkening, and my wonderful pre-reader/kinda sorta editor is currently making his way through chapter 2. Once I've finished the third chapter, I'm going back to the first to begin editing. I don't believe the editing phase will take very long, and once all three chapters have been touched up, and I have the finished cover art, I will be posting the story.

Just figured I should give you all an update since I've been so quiet here lately. Chapter 1 of The Darkening is finished and being looked over by my pre-reader, and I'm probably about a quarter of the way through writing Chapter 2. Also, due to the difficulty I've been having writing Chapter 2, I stepped away for a bit and worked on my Pinkie story for a little while. I have just finished writing chapter nine and plan to edit it this weekend. It will be posted Monday at noon EST. This chapter turned out to be nearly 13,000 words long, so I split it up. So while you are looking at a smaller chapter this time (only about 4,000 words), the good news is that I'm nearly done with the next chapter, which I hope to post sometime the following week.
