Blue Moon grew up in Vaporia, a very different environment from Equestria. A floating country with three states, it's a land of new beginnings, mercenaries and adventurers. Our protagonist never stood out much growing up, aside from his large stature. One day, when his class was taking a field trip on an airship to Heliopolis, he grabbed a decorative sword and defended his peers and teacher from a pack of hungry beasts, earning his Monster Hunting cutie mark.

Accepted into the renowned Monster Hunter's Academy in the Gryphon Kingdoms, Blue Moon began keeping a journal of his adventures. Let's take a peek into it, I'm sure he won't mind...

The Cutie Mark Crusaders haven't let up in their quest for cutie marks. One day, their planning is interrupted by a shooting star in the night sky. They agree upon a wish, rationalizing that if they all wish the same thing, it would be sure to come true, right? Of course!

Around the same time, a form slowly descends to the Ponyville Square, almost as if gently placed there. Despite the snow falling around him, the sleeping human doesn't stir in the suddenly changing environment. And he definitely doesn't go unnoticed.

Celestia seems reluctant to meet this new inhabitant, and gives Twilight some coordinates and very specific directions to teach this newcomer some of Equestria's history before taking him there. Of course, without the human ever being aware of the plans. What fun would that be?

In a town where not even the most powerful of unicorns cannot affect the infertility of the land, a mysterious mare shows up and changes everything for the better. Gardens sprout up, lush veggies enough o feed the whole village and then some!

Although most do not question this mare's ability to grow plants where everyone has failed, threads of suspicion inflict some of the ponies, untrusting of her mysterious nature...
