Pinkie Pie told a pretty tame story to the Cutie Mark Crusaders. What if that barely scratched the surface?

This is my spin on that story.

As soon as they became the Cutie Mark Crusaders they knew exactly what their mission was. To get their Cutie Marks, whatever it took. It's what they didn't know that makes all the difference. Can their friendship survive the honest truth?

Losing a friend is never easy, and when you try to hold on to their memories you wind up losing then even more. Five friends must overcome their own issues, each others mistakes, and the loss of their friend if they want to get back to living. It's just not so easy when you can't let go.

The day Applejack ran straight for froggy bottom bog was a day Fluttershy can never forget. She had already been entertaining feelings for Applejack by then, but that pretty much sealed the deal. Applejack can't imagine such a delicate pony as Fluttershy ever paying a workhorse like herself any attention. Still, there's always the chance. So, who will admit their feelings first?

Granny Smith has had a pretty remarkable life of adventure and excitement, but she settled down when she had a daughter. It wasn't long before she was blessed with another. So, how did she get to where she is now? How did Big Macintosh get so quiet? How did Applejack get so invested in the family business? What ever happened to their parents? Lots of questions, and lots of answers.
