It's no easy task to host a family as large as the Apple clan for the holidays. No matter how much Applejack might hope otherwise, its not likely to go perfectly. But if it does, or even if it doesn't, maybe Applejack will have earned a miracle by the night's end.

What does it take to rule Equestria?  Following an argument, Celestia has abdicated the throne and vanished from the memory of Equestria’s citizens, leaving Luna the chance to learn for herself.  Twilight, one of the few that still remembers Celestia, has grave concerns about Luna's leadership capabilities.  The nobles are restless and foreign enemies circle like sharks, sensing weakness.  Meanwhile, far off in the frozen north, Sombra stirs, dreaming of himself on the throne.

"We are such stuff as dreams are made on." But when our dreams leave us behind we become lost and must search, within and without, for something new.

How does anyone face mortality? How would Pinkie face it? A first person POV about Pinkie's last day.

Twilight grows tired of not understanding Pinkie's random abilities and hypnotizes her to get a better look inside that crazy pink noggin. However, Twilight never expected to find another pony sleeping in Pinkie's brain, especially not one that claims to have lived when Discord ruled. Will she find an explanation for Pinkie's antics in this story of the ancient past?
