Have you ever heard the phrase 'crack treated seriously', often used as a tag on ao3? This feels like a prime example of that, and it is very well-done. I've seen the worm meme going around before, but this is the first time I've seen it taken so seriously in a piece of writing, and it is a very fun read which I'm upvoting.
