Yes, don't want to give spoilers but the reason is that the Elements did something to him from the first chapter and the newest chapter give clues about it. How it didn't affect on Celestia, why Luna lose her chance, how Celestia could miss a voice on her head and why Twilight didn't have full control yet. At the end we can say he was damage by their power and was restore it when was 'rebooted'.

I, personally, have only read to this point since recently discovering this story, but all the clues are there showing Twilight Sparkle as Shadow’s master. I will post my suspicions however it has likely already been explained in newer, published chapters I have yet to read.
Luna fought Shadow to a stalemate but he was turned to stone when he sacrificed himself to allow Discord to escape. (Discord still master)
Later, Celestia and Luna defeated Discord and imprisoned him in stone. (Celestia and Luna become his masters)
Celestia banished Nightmare Moon (Luna) to the moon. (Celestia becomes master)
Celesta recognizes Twilight Sparkle as her successor. (Twilight Sparkle becomes his master)

From reading more I will agree. Discord never informed her that he transferred ownership to her despite the Yami tool system being broken. Also, since it was broken, the sigil never appeared on her hand. Therefore, it looks purely accidental that Celestia transferred ownership to Twilight.

Happy halloween 🎃, well early. When i see that we were aproaching to this day i check that this chapter may have spocky elements. If you ask i fear more that internal demons that speak into your ear, making you go agaisnt to others and try to convince you to do things. This reminds ma of the exorcist of the Papa how they speak in riddles and said JUST DO IT!
To summarize i finish this chapter and enter to the holiday decide to update this chapter. I will update the next chapters later on before the holidays. Hope you enjoy it.

Well, I do believe that would be forshadowing and I hate it. The harem part, you have no idea how hard it is to find good stories with just a simple paring of two people. So far the story is good. Just a bit errors in writing here and there, some words having the last letter swallowed and the likes. Still, so far so good.

Hi, thanks for the comments. First, I'm doing all the work, including editing. And, as you can see, grammar was not my best class. At this point, I've already edited the rest of the chapters, so once I upload the next bonus chapter, they'll be ready once it's finished. As your comment on the harem part, I can not denied that I wish that harem fantasy, however, is really hard. When I watched anime, I see an op protagonist that get everything right and all love him when in reality is different. So for my stories, I will not saying my OC will not end with everyone but may stay with one or two.
