Not Everything Changes
“This world of yours does have a certain appeal,” Celestia said, still finding herself examining her alien form as she sat on Sunset Shimmer’s couch. “And I’m thrilled to see you again, naturally.”
Sunset turned away from the video game on her screen and beamed at her. “You too, Princess.”
“I must confess, though, there are times I feel you’ve changed so much I almost don't recognize you, even apart from your physical appearance.”
Sunset shifted back to the game. “Me too, honestly, but- OH COME ON! YOU LOUSY STINKING PIECE OF- AAAAAAAGH! WHAT THE ACTUAL CRAP! THIS IDIOT BETTER HOPE I NEVER FIND HIM OR I’LL STUFF HIS CONTROLLERS DOWN HIS STUPID THROAT!”
As she watched her flustered, raging former student, Celestia suddenly found herself giggling helplessly.
Sunset looked at her again. “What?”
“Other times,” Celestia said with a smile, “it’s as though you never left.”
Sunset does have a fiery temper.
Okay, sure, funny flashfic, with a good punch, but why is Sunset playing video games when The Highness Herself is visiting her?

Eh, why wouldn't Celestia be curious about how her former student/surrogate daughter spends her days?

Hm, makes sense if Sunset later on showed it to her. It just appeared to me that Celestia just entered, and then Sunset immediately went/continued playing video games, but that's the boundaries of 150 words

Now I'm imagining Sunset trying to explain streaming to Celestia, and it's a delightful mental image.
"So they give you you money to watch you play these games."
"Yup."
"Rather than spend that money to purchase the games themselves."
"I know, humans, right? I don't see how I could be more fun than— OH, YOU CHEAP SON OF A HOBBLED MULE!"
"Yes. Indeed. However might they find this more entertaining?"
