No attack like a sneak attack - especially when your number one power as a muscle wizard is to cast FIST
Plus, Anon's clearly scared out of his wits, so he should be all for things that increase his chance of success.
2
Number 2.
I would choose to convince Twilight to hide and don't do anything. It might not be the heroic choice but if Anon and Twilight were to do action, it might end up making things worse for the villagers.
If Twilight couldn't be convinced, then I suggest a sneak attack. If they were to do a frontal attack, they might end up making much more of mess than they intended.
Option 5 sneak any without attracting the raiders coming to the village just put more folks at risk but the elder has things under control and all the village is losing it sounds like is the resources they would have dedicated to our feast anyway. We need to get out of dodge so maybe follow one of the other leads from before
Number 2, and does Twilight have access to summon water? If so, then summon water into the leader's lungs or head (Depending on the sound you want them to make).
2 first then 1 if the previous on is out voted by the other ones. Besides, having support from the citizens in anyway shape or form is good (but I think most they can do is discount at best).
And for those who think that the raiders could carry off more then even a village of 50 could cunsume during a celebration I would like to add that they seem to be heavily armored raiders on a investigation. Whoever sent them out wants them to be fast so they can't be weighing themselves down with loot without pissing off there boss who probably wants a fast report on what the heck happened to the queens pet.
Option 2, nothing like a good old sneak attack, besides:
“Flank em then Spank em” - Sun Tuz, The Art of War (Or some shit like that)
'The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. ... Attack like the Fire and be still as the Mountain.” -sun tzu
Naturally Imma go with option 2
i like 2 the best
Option 2 is the best option since Anon is probably still underpowered. He’ll have to rely on his wits.
Option 4: Lose them in the woods. They have weird muscle-zombie steeds, but Twilight has wings.
Option 4 please
Options number 1 and 2 are stupid choices, number 3 will be useless because of twilight Definitely don't want it. I made my own choices, number 5. After fleeing into wood
You can set traps and sneak attacks in the forest without having to worry about the villagers being held captive.
Ryuuguin seiya will be disappointed with you if you choose numbers 1,2 and 3. As Seiya always said:
You must "Ready Perfectly" before everything "Gonna be okay"
Ps: edited
I wanna see where number 4 goes. NUMBER 4!
2
I would say Hide.
Full attack is stupid:, especially when they have the advantage of surprise, and if by some miracle they do win, Lilith would know that they died in the village, and sends more solders after them, seeing as they died in the town, the town would burn, and so would the Men and Children. (Unstated implications)

Sneak Attack: I would have to agree, attacking them would not be a problem if their deaths didn't apparently alert Lilith where they died. If they attack and win, Lilith sends more solders after them, seeing as they died in the town, the town would burn, and so would the Men and Children. (Unstated implications)
If they try to flee and lose them in the woods, and they succeed, then the riders go back and the town would burn, and so would the Men and Children.(Unstated implications)
If they fail to lose them, whether they win or lose the fight, the town would burn, and so would the Men and Children. (Unstated implications)
Either due to being killed and the solders going back to the village or more solders showing up to avenge their comrades.

Ohhh I like that. After all san tuz does know a little more about fighting pal cause he invented it. I pick option 2 as well.
Best option is to stealth sneak attack the riders one by one since the village guards won't stand a chance when Anon and Twilight try to lure the enemy away. If any of the fleeing riders sends in reinforcements later, better go to a different location to lose them.
3
Honesty Anon and Twi need to lure them away from town before fighting them. A fight in town could create unnecessary casualties. Maybe killing another of Lilith's beast would do it.
I believe in option 2 to be the best option.
Option 3 Hide , trying to fight them will result in anon getting pummeled/captured and trying to run from them is equally stupid
He is a brawler, not an assassin so number two wont work.
With his health so low, and with barely any fighting skills number one probably won't work and he will get captured.
The ponies will most likely lose faith in anon if he does number four, making it harder for him to tell them to do things.
Number three is the safest, but if Twilight doesn't listen then we are doing number one anyway.
So number 3.
None of the options are optimal, two requires a level of stealth that they both lack, three is something we all know Twilight won’t agree to, four is suicide as these are mounted troops and they would be ran down before they could really do anything and that would also put the village at risk.
Option one is the best, they will have surprise on their hands and with them being mounted they lack the ability to do any sudden maneuvers In such tight spaces and their weapons are likely tailored towards Mounted combat which means long spears/Lances and strait sabers meant for slashing which aren’t that useful in tight spaces.
That and the Village has Spear equipped troops which will have a reach advantage against them.
Yes, Option one is the best out of the four and has the highest chance of success.
Derpibooru credits Vincher as the artist.
If we attack the raiders, one of two things happen:
A) We lose, in which case we end up captured or dead.
B) We win, in which case Lillith...who sensed when she lost a single minion, gets a huge pile of pingbacks that somebody's taking out the people she sent to investigate. And even if these particular minions aren't hooked up to her tracking system, when they fail to report back, the end result is rougly the same. She then responds by sending something bigger and nastier to the village.
Whereas, if the villagers hand over the goods, the minions report back that no hero saved them, and they get written off as probably not conspiring to help the hero, and therefore the village is less likely to be burned to the ground days after we leave and are no longer here to protect it.
We have a huge advantage right now: the big bad doesn't know we exist. Let's not throw that advantage away. Twilight's a smart girl. She'll understand a rational argument.
We just got here. Let's level up some before we engage the main quest.
3 have him tell Twi the risk of getting involved could make the village a target 3 is logical and safest choice the Elder will understand hopefully
Option 4.
If they pick a fight in the village, the civilians would be caught in the crossfire.
I say option one or two because Raiders Need 2 b beaten because of all the things they’re doing to the village like they need those things to survive and if they take them that village will most likely die
Current Voting at the Moment:
All-out Attack: 1
Sneak Attack: 14
Hide: 7
Run: 6
This is quite fun to write. I will probably post another chapter later today in evening. You can still vote before then. It is currently early morning for me. Thank you all for voting and commenting it means alot to me
Unless Twilight has an OVERPOWERED memory spell, whatever else, not number 4. The enemies still know where this village is and would likely just come back to take out their frustrations on the villagers. Especially that captain. I wanna say orc but that might confuse people who are more familiar with the TTIRAAS pig version than the LOTR/WOW version.
4. Attempt to flee while trying make riders follow you both and loose them in the woods somehow.
2
10464289 Does that include the men the raiders are going to take as tribute?
Sneak attack. Pick off one by one until discovered then fight through them and the pain.
It’s too late for what I think, but letting them do what they want while you hide is the beet choice. Other actions would harm or doom the village without any benefit. A tactical victory at the cost of strategic stealth is pointless. Especially when saving the village some trouble will get the village ravaged or destroyed in retribution.
For some reason I feel like this is missing a crossover tag.
