Also have you considered using something like Strawpoll to tally the choices? Seeing other people's decisions influences the choices of people voting later on.

So many readers saying go to the village and get supplies and equipment. I don't think we have any money. Soooo I pick option 2. Maybe ponified Gandalf can shed some much needed light into these powers Anon has and some supplies or money.

I'm go with Option 1, no point in going after twilights friend yet with out supplies as I severely doubt that it would be easy, and option 2 will have to happen after option 1, then and only then will we be ready for option 3. (We could grill twilight for information about the land and the steel she used while doing options 1 & 2)

Comment-driven stories tend to capture an author's motivation really well because of audience involvement and feedback. As long as the author doesn't write himself into a corner based on said feedback, we should be good. But I have seen an author have an obvious direction they wanted to go in that the audience didn't care about, and the author get bummed out and stop.

Thank you for saying this but, I gonna try really hard to just let the story be what it is. If it goes wrong and it has bad ending. Then so be it. I've DM'ed for DND campaigns so much I am used to be people making choices I don't think they will but, I am having fun with this.

This man needs to level up, even though he's crazy strong. That negative perk caused him to take more damage. He needs some other perks to counteract the negative one.

Seems to bad to be that we didn't get assassin or necromancer, but, it's on me for not finding the story before voting. That said, how does voting work here? From what I saw of the comment likes in the first chapter, I would have thought assassin would have won out as it seemed to be a combined six to four and I didn't see anything linking to a voting site or the like.

I count three or four times and in the first chapterBrawler one out there may have been some votes After the fact after I posted the second chapter so that might be what you’re seeing.

Almost every game I've played gave the brawler decent defense, this does not do that.
