Okay, so, I am reasonably certain that the cause of death was a shrapnel bomb. A glass container, filled with screws, razorblades, the knife, and some kind of explosive powder, somehow dropped into the fire. The explosion knocked off the fireplace guard, and the shrapnel tore him to shreds, with the explosion sending him through the wall. The presence of the bell on the roof indicates it being either a unicorn or pegasus.
The numbers of items matching up means it's possible that the murder supplies were collected long before the murder, allowing the store to re-stock before the murder occurred.
The crowbars and glue fit... weirdly. It's possible that someone tried and failed to seal the door from the outside. Either someone didn't want them to see the Monomart, or they wanted them out of the hotel, and used that sign and the odd crowbars as a misdirection.
Copper and Dopple are currently my two primary suspects. As it was a bomb, nobody truly has an alibi, as at the moment we can't tell when it was placed.
Someone's been sneaking into the MonoMart and taking the things they needed to make this bomb, leaving enough time for Monobunny to restock everything before the next count.
The rope was used as a fuse, I'm sure. Then when the bomb went off, it seems to me that Yoko tried to run away before it exploded, which is why only his back half is shredded. The pounding on Reph's door might've been him desperately trying to get help before the killer delivered the final blows.
The crowbars and other stuff... maybe it was another bomb used to fling the service bell on top of the roof? At any rate, someone wanted everyone else to think they couldn't go outside.
Given what we know, here's what I suspect went down. There was an explosion in the rec room while Yoko was in it. While he's stunned, an assailant does something with the fireplace and attacks him the knife before fleeing. Yoko manages to get up and goes to the nearest room, pounding on it in a panic. He accidentally breaks the lock, which incurs himself to the punishment of losing a limb as per the rules.
It's too early to reach any conclusions, but I've got a theory, and Inky is the suspect in it.

Uh-wah!? Restocking items in the middle of the day when anyone could wander in? Preposterous! We here at the MonoMonoMart have strict rules when it comes to that! As has been previously stated, restocking at the MonoMonoMart is only done either at nighttime or during a murder trial, when none of the participants are allowed inside, and only if one or more of the following pieces of criteria are met:
- The item is consumed. Om-nom-nom! Slurp, slurp!
- The item reaches its use-by date or goes rotten. Yuck!
- The item is destroyed. Smash! Crash! Kablooey!
- The item leaves the dome, usually after being tipped down the drain or flushed down the toilet. Bon voyage!
- The item is involved in a murder investigation... Pu-hu-hu-hu! In which case, it's in my best interest to have these items removed from the dome during the trial, and for any such items to be restocked.
Aside from that... items will not get restocked! Otherwise, those weapon checks would've been pointless! And no, tools and weapons don't have use-by dates. But then, how do you explain all those things that were found during the investigation!? Hmmmmm... Can you figure it out? Pu-hu-hu-hu!

Oh... Hmm...
Well, all those shrapnel items were small enough to be eaten... dangerous, but doable. What constitutes being "eaten"? Can someone puke it up after swallowing, or do they have to poop it out? It's ridiculous, but ridiculous enough to work.
Or... depending on how fast things are restocked, I think 6am-ish may still count as Nighttime. The killer could have palmed the shrapnel bits just after the previous weapons check, made the bomb, things happened, and then it was all restocked before they entered the MonoMart during the investigation. That seems less likely to me, though.
Dang, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that the investigation wrapped up in only one chapter. That was quite a lot of information given in a relatively short amount of time.
So far, definitely agreeing with the consensus that it was a shrapnel bomb of some kind, though where all those supplies came from I'm pretty stumped, except that this was likely planned far in advance. And while the bell on the roof would lead one to believe only a pegasus or unicorn could've done this, that feels like the kind of assumption our killer might want us to make, much like the sign that may or may not have been left by Monobunny. So I'm not quite buying that yet. Ironically, it actually makes me most suspicious right now of those who seemingly couldn't pull this off.
