She worked from home most of the time anyway, being forced to do so seemed like not that big of a deal. When the chance to help end the outbreak was presented, she went for it, and got back more than a footnote in history in return.

So much truth that causes so many problems due to not being able to really see it past the fears.
Sunburst's a good dude, verra responsible.
Adoooorable!
Well Autumn and Starburst make a cute couple. However the evil conspiracy is worrying in that apparently this cure didn’t work or they didn’t like the side effects.
Standard procedure when dealing with ultra-confidential secret, like, there is a micro nation of sapient, magical ponies and a somewhat dragon with god-like power in one of the government's buildings.

It does make you wonder what their end game is. In the short term this lets them dodge annoying questions, but given that dead people popping back to life would be a touch conspicuous itself, it's not exactly a plan for when people get cured of the ponid.

Cured?
Hehe, good to reference the "hey, remember the original reason all this started?!" point. We figured the higher ups were depending on the subject's change of focus out of worldly things as their transformations continued. Easy to sweep away things that aren't being communicated, right?
Sunburst seems to naturally be encouraging a stronger, slower burn. Better stability, more useful, and easier to work with.
Keep going! ;)

It's cute you think they're going to be human again...
Do you mean back or belly?

Fixed the first, but leaving off I is a thing that happens in spoken words all the time.

Well, I'm assuming they're still considering it a disease, given that they've given it a fancy name and are pretending to see their subjects as patients. If they don't even do that, then that makes me even more curious as to their end-game, since it would involve actively turning people into ponies and keeping them that way, for reasons yet unexplained.
