I can't really say much about the plan as a whole. But I do have an idea. Make the heir a female and have her seduce Ember with mind control. With Ember as her lover, she will be able to gain any information that she would need from her. Then once Ember has given her enough information, she can help her lead to capture the Elements of Harmony. And I'm only saying this because I like Ember and Spike as a couple. Have the female changeling order Ember to seduce Spike. Then when Ember has fully seduced Spike. Have the female changeling give Spike a choice.

Follow her and keep Ember and any other female that he would ever want as a sex slave.

7 first steps... Establish oneself in the area slowly, with all the new ponies coming in because of the new princess, and eventually the school. There's a lot of support services that need to be set up or expanded. Changelings would be perfect to help set those up. New stores, new eateries, new construction or service companies, check janitorial services, janitors hear everything and get everywhere. New Bar, heck new brothel perhaps.

8. Dunno on personality other than I think a hilariously abrasive or sarcastic changeling would be fun.

For people who are wondering, I'm giving about two weeks of voting on choices (Maybe more if people, or myself, need it). After that I will focus on getting the next chapter out.

First, a note, you might want to censor those nipples in the image in the author notes. Fimfiction doesn't allow that as far as I'm aware. Unless it was there already while the fic was being approved, in which case that's the approver's fault for not pointing it out.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised to have inspired you to write this, and I hope you'll have fun working on it. Before anything else though, I do have to say this, and I hope you won't take it the wrong way: this story needs an editor. There are groups on Fimfiction to find one, I suggest you check them out. This is not meant as an insult to you as writer, I believe you have potential and simply need someone to help you with formatting, proper grammar and proper use of punctuation. I'm actually quite interested to see where this story goes. I'm intrigued by the world as you set it up, and want to see what you plan to do with it.

Speaking of that, let's answer some questions, shall we? I don't know if I'm supposed to trust this Chrysalis, but I'm told there will be fucking of mares if I help her.

1. Female. Although male futa does look tempting.
2. Well, you've crushed my dreams by excluding Shining, so I'm going to say Sunburst. All that knowledge might be useful, and I like the idea of the guy having met a changeling at some point. Plus, you know, the child of Starlight's friend bringing on her downfall. Alternatively, if possible, Thorax himself would make for a pretty fun dynamic.
3. I swear I don't say this just to make this different from my story, but shape-shifting. It allows for all sorts of fun stuff, especially when it comes to sex, and the fact that this changeling already has others to help means things can play out differently than what is happening in Infiltration. Physical confrontation becomes a valid tactic, and this will help there.
4. Princess Antenna. Should they be male instead, my vote goes to Prince Pronotum. That's the part that stays on top of the thorax, after all.
5. Having a unicorn seems like the obvious choice, after all it's what would allow them to use magic without arousing suspicions. However, assuming we can pick anything, I'm going to say a dragon. No one will question the lack of ties to others, and no one will question where you'll live. And notable strength wouldn't turn heads too much. Plus, an infamously solitary creature is the antithesis to what the changedlings are. It's utter rejection of Thorax's choice to imitate ponies. I'll say black scales with a hint of purple, and green on the underside. Yeah, it looks like a changeling, that's the point. I think Charcoal would be a fitting name.
6. People seem to be favouring the mountain here. Is it the one near Ponyville? If so I wouldn't be against it, however my primary vote goes to the Everfree. No one will come looking for you, no one will question someone not coming back if a pony does run into your hive. It will help with capturing ponies too should it come to that, they won't escape from there any time soon. There's only one thing that could trouble you there, and it's what I'll address in the next point.
7. Get Zecora. Have a changeling replace her if you can't mind control her right away. She's crafty, but you're ten against one, and she won't be expecting an attack. Not only will she provide a source for on the forest, her potions would certainly be immensely helpful, and with her on your side you'd have no problems getting ponies to drink them.
8. • Vale: very devoted to the Hive and royal line, kind of nervous. Not exceptionally smart, though he isn't dumb either. A bit jumpy at times. Good at working on manipulating ponies.
   • Segmenta: friendly, a bit simple minded. Others sometimes prank her, but it's all in good fun and she doesn't mind. Has a strong admiration for Chrysalis and for what changelings can achieve.
   • Aquiline: has a tendency to boss the others around, thinks others don't respect the Queen enough. By contrast she is also very loyal to Chrysalis and therefore to you.
   • Cypri: is usually the one to play pranks on Segmenta, though they're still good friends. Usually stands up to Viola when she's being annoying. He has a tendency to point out flaws in others' plans, and is always willing to help them.
   • Viola: a bit bitchy, very sure of herself and of the Hive's capability. Tends to have a very direct and not subtle approach to issues, not the best strategist as a result.
   • Epilo: prone to anger, and to some outbursts because of it. Sometimes ends up going against orders if she's particularly angry, but she always wants to do what she thinks is best for the hive. Gets into arguments with Aquiline sometimes.
   • Acon: very proud of the Hive's successes. Convinced that changelings are better than other races. He has a tendency to underestimate ponies. Very dedicated to helping others in the Hive. Calmer and more reflexive than others, even if his prejudice does cloud his judgment sometimes.

Any new changelings could be explained as new arrivals from your previous village. Explore the everfree/castle for sources of magic/useful artifacts to empower the hive. Befriend Zecora and perhaps establish romantic relationship with her.
8. Vale- Stealthy and quiet by nature, is secretly in love with Aquiline. Loves coffee. Segmenta- Has thinner chitin then usual, making her very flexible. Seductive and enthusiastic. Likes to hide in small/tight spaces and loves oranges. Aquiline- Outgoing and expressive, has a healthy self-confidence. Likes to swim and loves chocolate. Cypri- Likes to read and experiment with magic and plants. Loves strawberries. Viola- Loves all things musical, purple, and flowery. Peppy and innocent. Epilo- Slightly sociopathic, loves the taste of cherries, has a soft spot for Viola. Acon- Jumpy and nervous, low self-esteem. likes to read comics and acts like a hero when alone. Goes crazy for mangoes.

Thanks for the input. Don't worry, I knew going forward that I DESPERATELY needed an editor so I am looking for one, also for the image, that had already been their when I sent it in for approval.
So I wish to respond to your answers here so as to not influence the other commenters this early.
1.Understandable that the MF looks interesting. While being more masculine, it would still have breasts(though with a larger penis) and would take some more physical features from their father.
2.Shining simply felt like I would be giving myself to much of an advantage. Like you said their is a lot of knowledge in his head and with ten changelings at my call, that felt a little OP. Also I simply felt it would be to stereotypical.As for Thorax, I plan on elaborating later but Chrysalis simply really dislikes him, so he's out.
3.Understandable shape-shifting in or out of the bedroom could lead to all kinds of fun. Besides that way Chrysalis would keep those mind control skills and then we would need to spend more time with mother dearest once we have a stable love supply to have her teach us and that can lead to some fun.I almost feel dirty writing that.
4.Both nice ideas and Love the male one.
5.While a dragon could be fun that might be to noticeable at this point. Maybe once the Friendship school starts we could do that but until then probably not.
6. Yeah its the mountain that Fluttershy ran the dragon out of. If more people keep asking for it I plan to use it and for the changelings we sent to explore further in to find some Diamond Dogs along with the treasure the dragon left behind(not all of it obviously.). As for the Forest, that was my preferred spot, though I feel the Elements would end up investigating if to many who wandered in didn't come out.

2. Interesting choice and while I could make it work (especially if others also ask for it.), it also seems the least likely to me.
3. All changelings already produce a honey like substance from their breasts, that was the love honey mentioned in the chapter and it is how changelings generally share love with each-other. While I have an idea similar to this later in the story the one you suggested is unlikely, also that would fall under shape-shifting and mind control could only be used later on.
4. This is suppose to be for their changeling name so this wouldn't fit, does fit for the disguise you gave though.
5. Not a bad disguise idea, but I might use it for one of the other changelings.
6. This story is literally hours after Chrysalis fled the Hive. Since we are trying to stay mostly to canon Pinkie still lives their. Our base for our new Hive is needed for us, and the ten other changelings. So obviously this idea is out.

While we are going to focus on trying to get ourselves in a position to brainwash one of the princesses. Kidnapping and replacing one is going to be too difficult simply due to how many different people they have to interact with on a day-to-day basis. After all it takes one slip-up for someone to get suspicious and then have us be revealed again. So now it's easier to disguise ourselves as completely original characters with no prior connections so that we don't have to pretend to be anyone or don't have to make such radical shifts in our personality that we have to be afraid of a slip-up. After all both times the main reason the Chrysalis's plans failed was due to other suspecting something was off about whoever was impersonated.

Due to a family medical scare I will be leaving for Florida. While I am their I will lack access to a strong internet and will not be able to write the next chapter. Due to this I am extending the voting period by two more weeks. I apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

I recommend male, there's already a cyoa about a futa changeling and there are many about changeling yuri si I would go for male, also I would recommend making the father someone powerful who Chrysallys met during her journeys, if choosing between shapeshifting or mind control I would choose mind control, mainly because if you can turn into a 'reformed changeling' and Say some excuse then anyone can believe you, as long as the heir doesn't catch Twilight's attention from the get go it will be fine, all the while it has been showed that ponies are easy to manipulate and control if one knows how, I would also pick the mountain or the everfree for a startup because it would be harder to run into the Mane six that way (I know they go to the everfree for picnics now but they should be busy with friendship stuff) the first steps would depend on how do we start, are we a baby or a full grown adult? What type of poni can we change in? How long until Chrysallys gives birth? Etc, etc. The best course of action would be to wait until the changeling' threat dies down in Twilight's eyes, then we can just come into poniville and Say we are a turist or something, the most important info would be in what season would we take action because it would be stupid to Just go right after they drove the chamgelings away
