Have you ever asked yourself, "What would it be like if your life was in some ways like a video game?" I didn't, and it's a lot more complicated than to press a button to win

Thanks for the chapter. ^^
also, i must say that switching to bold text 3/4ths in is a massive eyesore. and though i dont plan to reread the whole thing to spellcheck i can assure you there are a few other ones.
Ummmmm...so something the game said earlier peaked my intrest. If john ever gets pent up... will the game take control and... relieve him??? Will that even happen in the story???

Oh, that was actually an error. I must have deleted one of the symbols that limts the thick text. It should be corrected now. Is there anything else you might want to tell about the chapter?

He won't become a warrior, if that is what your wondering, and since classes level seperatly he could easily reach level 10 arcanist in no time. You will see in the following chapters why he needed that strenght boost, frail has more effect on his pony life than just ugliness and lowered strenght and endurance stats.
:C
I sincerely hope this is just the opinion of the character, not the Author. I mean, I don't much care if there's no sex in this story (though depending on the characters and interactions, that may change), but I fail to see the significance of their horse-like shape. They can think, talk, they have hospitals and government. They have inspectors, for fuck's sake. They're clearly not animals.
I mean, we probably look like monkeys to other races - and with good reason: the difference between the human genome and that of other primates is (admittedly at its closest) something like 1.2%. That's actually a huge difference, when you consider just how much information is packed into the DNA, but... you know... 1.2%. We're basically apes, and if anyone comes to our planet, that's what they're going to see at first.

That's the characters opinion, my opinion for pretty much everything in life is to do what you wish to do, unless you are directly making someone's life worse. If someone were to love an alien, then I would be the last person to complain. Sentient life is sentient life.
John is just generally pretty bitter about everything in life and that with good reason: why put love into something (not just sexually related, but the emotion as well) when you're just gonna lose it anyway, so why not fill that hole with hate, it pushes someone to get the job done, so why not?
That describes John's attitude pretty much, though only time will tell if that will one day change.
again, i'm lacking many things to nitpick, good on you.
I feel like this is cheating. Like, I get that he can interact with GAME, but it taking control like that feels a bit much, y’know? It basically means he doesn’t have to do things for himself, which defeats the whole point of getting stronger. I mean, why learn and get better at controlling things if you can have something else do it all for you without the effort?
Does he not have a limit on how much he can hold or something because that is a lot of stuff. I mean, not only is he level 1, he’s also a foal, and also not very strong, soooo...
I’m pretty sure Solo levelling had a limit to the inventory capacity. Never was explicitly stated or shown, but it seemed like it.
Also, on the subject of the inventory, the fact that he can take things just by looking at them is a bit overpowered. I mean, again, in solo levelling the ,C had to be holding the item to put it into his inventory, and it wasn’t an instantaneous action. So for this MC to be able to instantly put an item into his inventory just by looking at it, I mean... Think about it. Pony threatens him with a knife. Put knife in inventory, problem solved. It’s overpowered.
Brings up a good question, actually. With the flaw and his low charisma, why is it that he’s seemingly attractive in the cute sense of the word? You’d think the only one who would think he was adorable would be his adoptive mother, with others thinking he was at most cute, at worst fugly. Does the Charisma mod simply not matter until later in life or something? Because that’s kinda..l stupid. Unless, of course, in terms of game mechanics it acts as though he’s currently under a charisma buff.
It feels a little cheesy that he learned so many combat spells from books in a public library. I mean, for starters, that’s cheating. He got the books for nothing - he didn’t even need to do it manually, the Game did it - and he got so much for free. Secondly, these are ponies we’re talking about. Is this universe more dangerous or something because I highly doubt ponies would normally have offensive magic in a public library. Utility stuff, sure, stuff that could be used as a weapon, maybe, but straight stuff like fireballs, knives, armour, etc etc. no. Especially when this stuff is written by odd named characters and mentions that life force fuels the spell. Like, what?
I-I’m sorry what? When was there a corpse after his birth? What masked guy? What storeroom!?

These things are/will be explained later.
The Game can do things, but only so good as John, just with a tad more control. The game can also only follow pre determined patterns, he couldn't fight for John or do spontaneous actions like playing an instrument, which would sound stale compares to a real musician.
This will be explained in the first dungeon, he has a radius of five meter, said item has to lay idle and must first be unhanded before stolen. His inventory is limited in terms of power, it couldn't store, for example, an magic item above his level, even if he were to empty it entirely.
He is an baby, so this in it self is one reason why some fond him adorable. The flaw weak mentions that stronger beings will find him pitiful, combined with a pony's empathy and most ponies will just feel sorry for him. Charisma will play a larger role later on, when the foal stage is over.
The game tool detailed concepts like for example the fire starter spell for camping, the cooling spell to cool down liquids, basic combat spells for self defense, shield and bolt are spells most ponies learn growing up, which is why they were there and modified it foe John's needs. How this works is later explained as well.
Well, in a sense, it is balanced. The tome is destroyed and thus the skill is instantly learned. Most spells will be considerable weaker for a while, even with high stats, compared to a normal pony. He just has the potential to become stronger than a mortal pony, but untill the last stage he will always be at a disadvantage.
On chapter two, where John and the Game meet, there are a lot of corpses, one of them was robbed.
I hope this cleared a few things up, sorry if I made a few errors.
Edit: I forgot to mention, that none of John's skills will earn any progress when the Game does the task. However, if John is working with the game together on a certain task, he will still level up skills at a much slower pace.
huh, I guess angels don't exist.
Probably already said but G.A.M.E reminds me of S.A.M from Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Actually, I haven't heard that one before. Huh.

Your wish has been granted.
We the internet shall see to you eating your words mortal lol.
It's throwing me off something fierce that these chapters so far are all labeled as "Chapter One". It's just seems like a really weird and needlessly confusing way to structure a story.
really a warrior class you couldn't gone with the necromancer class but the warrior class really man the most basic class ever
