Once Micro has entered Pinkies Party Palace, does that mean she now has an excuse to be able to appear in any of his locations, at any time, especially if she has Fortune Cupcakes?
Rune Factory 4 has an intresting mechanic. Not only do you get a farm behind the castle, and Monster Barns, where the monsters can accompany you and level up, but the monsters farm the crops, trees and rocks blow in and grow, for stone and wood, and if you plant 4 of the same things together and treat them with SuperGrow, then they merge, and give a Super Sized harvest.
Of course, Zecora might have other reasons to research various levels of Super Grow? As well as using the Pathfinder system abilities, to make any spell, into a potion, permanetly without taking up a spell slot after?
Although fertility control methods have their place, when you have access to effectively infinity, you cant use it up no matter how hard you try?

Pinkie isn’t an ability user. Not her club
There is power in the dance..

I think I had the page open when my phone was in my pocket. Sorry about that.
That being said...I made it clear he participated and planned to do those things. And frankly, just doing something as disgusting as that once deserves the death penalty.
Also, I just want to say this. I am so sick of seeing the villain and hero thing. If Batman killed joker, that would not make him hypocritical. He would’ve killed him because he filled countless graveyards with innocent lives. Fido, arguably, did worse! I actually consider selling someway into human trafficking than killing. A person dies, and they are free from suffering. A person is sold into sex trafficking, and they are tortured for life.
Are executioners murderers? They are killing defenseless people. Is the soldier who pulls the trigger on the loaded gun in a firing squad a murderer?
Before I end, I know that it isn’t the same exact thing, and I’m not saying Fido (in real life) couldn’t repent. But I refuse to agree with the statement that a murder killing an innocent for pleasure, taping someone, or selling someone into human trafficking is the same as killing a criminal who I made it clear willing did those things!
I agree that killing him in that way was a lot. Killing simply out of anger was wrong. But it does not lower him to the same level as someone who takes innocent people and makes them sex dolls. For crying out loud, I wrote how he was about to chloroform and rape Chara and Fem Micro, which they knew he was going to do that since it was their bait for them. So they knew it wasn’t “a bad decision to make money.” They knew he willfully was doing this. So that argument is invalid.

The Joker is an intentionally extreme case, he's meant to be a villain who pushes Batman to break his one rule. Yeah, no one would say the world wouldn't be a better place without him but Batman can't break his rule no matter what because once he does it once it will only be easier to break it again in the future. And the next time it won't be for someone as bad as the Joker because no one is as bad as the Joker, that's kind of the point.
You do realize you are basically arguing that what Micro did is in fact the worse thing a person can do right?
Fair enough he knew Fido was gonna do harm to them but killing him in anger doesn't make him a better person it just makes Micro yet another person who feels they can do whatever they want. It was murder no matter how you look at it and if you didn't want Micro to be a murderer you could have given him a better reason to kill Fido other than "he was angry at him for something he almost did". Hell, I'd say if Fido had actually done the things he had threatened to do to them that it would absolutely be justified, it still wouldn't be right but at least he'd have a good reason to kill the guy.

I had a typo in the second point and fixed it in the original comment. I meant to say that selling people into human trafficking is worse. And it wasn’t just almost raping them that triggered it. Remember, I had micro observe him. It stated how Fido finds scores. He gets the other enforcers to help kidnap them. So he knows the other crimes he did and based on the rest of the conversation, can easily infer that he has done a lot more. In other words, it is justifiable.
Also, did I not mention that I agree killing out of anger was wrong.
9782316
It's still murder, even if Fido truly deserves it it's still murder. And either murder is always wrong or it never is. I'm not even saying that it's a bad thing to have Mirco as a character do it as long it's acknowledged that he's a murderer for doing it. Murder is a sin, it's something no one should ever be allowed to do and just because someone is a criminal it doesn't suddenly make murder okay.
Honestly saying Micro isn't a murderer for doing what he did is like trying to argue that the Punisher isn't a serial killer.
9782344
I’m not saying Micro didn’t commit murder, but I repeat. Is an executioner killing a death row inmate wrong? Based on the logic I’m seeing here, yes. Not to mention, despite the fact that Joker is an extreme example, it does put your murder is either always wrong or never wrong statement into question.
Look, in the end, we are two people with separate opinions on this topic, and I do think some things got lost along the way. I’m not saying what my character did isn’t wrong. I’m saying it was justifiable (meaning there was more reason to it than just anger or thinking “hey, maybe I will kill this person).
While I have some ideas for how to address this in the future, I can’t say them now.
I can’t think of any other way to say it. I agree with a lot of your points, I really do and I’m sorry if I haven’t made that clear. Murder is a sin, no doubt. I wasn’t trying to argue that. What I was trying to point out is that just because he did kill him doesn’t instantly demonize him.
Long story short, this comes down to an argument similar to what film theory talked about in their death note episode. Does the fact that innocents are spared suffering from another’s crimes justify the killing of criminals (lets just ignore the fact the main character killed innocents because I will never say killing someone like ray penber is a good thing). Some people will always say yes, others always no, and others in the middle.
I’m not saying let’s go out and kill all the criminals. Hell no. I’m not saying Micro isn’t a murderer (though I do understand that my wording was poor on some of my points). I’m just arguing that there is a justifiable part to it all.
9782371
In my opinion, it doesn't matter if it is justifiable, everyone who has ever murdered someone had a "good reason" to do it. I don't really think it matters if it was justifiable as that's just how people rationalize it to themselves and doing that is how you wind up as someone like the Punisher. It's a slippery slope and ultimately the only right thing to do is never take that first step for as long as you can help it.
I will say that what ultimately makes someone a murderer is someone who kills for their own selfish reasons and that was ultimately why Micro killed Fido. It wasn't to protect others or because he had no choice it was because he was angry at him and wanted him dead.
9782382
Fair enough. I can agree with that thought process. As I said, I have plans to tackle this in some way later on (I still need to decide when and how but I digress). You are right, every murderer has justified their actions in their own way.
I didn’t mean to start a huge debate like this, but I realize why it did start. I am happy that something I wrote managed to invoke such feelings in a number of people.
I understand and even agree with a lot, almost all of what was said. My only other point is which results in more innocents being safe, but even that can be argued against.
Thank you for the debate, and it is a lot to think about.
9782642
Thank you for phrasing it better than I’ve been able to

In the next lemon lead in chapter (67) I linked his archive page
9783098
Thank you! What’s your favorite part so far?
9783039
Yeah, I saw. It's funny, you seem to see the same issues I do, because it's usually the next chapter or two that have a fix to an issue I voice... ;P Perhaps I should learn to read further before I say anything?
Nah.
9783099
No one single thing, I suppose... Let's see, maybe I can put the pieces in and see where it goes:
I'm really enjoying the part where everyone's kinda mature about the whole thing - from powers to sex - instead of pushing the MC into a charade of misunderstandings and misconstrued notions. I've had enough of "comedies of errors". And that, perhaps, is the single strongest point about this fic - that you don't get to see forced mistakes and dumb "coincidences" that put the characters in situations they need to dig themselves out of, but should never have been in in the first place. It's nice to see things happen right from the get-go. I know it substracts a bit from enjoyment, because drama can only be created around characters that are not perfect, but I'm loving it. Prime example - Scoots being on the pill? Kinda out of the blue, never hinted at... but smart. Bonus points for that one. It also helps to establish that things still keep happening in the background, even if we're not there to see them.
Panty Powers? Love it. Properly Fucked Up. I think that was also the bit where I wrote that comment, so you can assume I really liked that particular action... ;]
I don't know all that many characters and powers mentioned here, but I'm enjoying it nevertheless. Still missing games I personally like, but it'd be hard to incorporate them without either changing the tone severely, or breaking Micro beyond how broken he already is. I mean - Portal, Half-Life (the immediate ability to use any weapon? even alien ones?), System Shock, Bioshock, Life is Strange...
... actually, that last bit? Being able to rewind the last 60 seconds might be... interesting, and would probably fit the narrative well (though I'd keep the time-travelling through photographs thing down to where it's really required - like helping a friend in need). Not sure if that's something Micro should have, though... *hint hint - you have a number of characters in-development who sorely need special abilities*
One thing I'm really happy about is that this thing isn't dead - as opposed to a few other attempts around here. There's a lot of potential here. The story isn't focusing on Micro breaking the world (or outright escalation). I like how ideas are re-used instead of being thrown in as an eleventh-hour superpower and then promptly discarded (or outright forgotten). I like that there's an overarching plot, but it's not butting its way into everything that's going on.
I really liked how you made the quests more of a consequence of "real-life" actions than anything else. In fact, I'd love to see more of that - Micro could pick up quests (investigation type) from reading about stuff, finding dropped notes, or even overhearing conversations.
I like how you slashed Micro's stats in the middle there. I mean - I hated it at the time, but it was the right move, as Micro was slowly getting too powerful for his own good. He still is, I think - and there's a lot of stuff he hasn't considered yet (if this is a game, there are rules - which ones can be bent? which ones can be broken? is there a developer console? - just to name a few). If he only used more of his expansive imagination, he'd become an outright terror - and then the villain would have to match... and I'm not sure the others would be able to do much beyond cheering him on.
Though, for obvious reasons, you could just have Micro curb-stomp the guy and call it a day... I know it's usually anticlimactic to have such a battle at the end of things, but in this particular type of story it's not that farfetched and it could be used as a platform for a more climactic ending (focusing on everything that isn't Gamer-related, like his friends and relationships).
Speaking of cheering on - I really like how the secondary character cast isn't all that secondary. Having the three girls in the classic hostage scenario was pulled off properly, though the trope itself (which was both subverted and played straight at the same time) is a little old. I like to see them being proactive - in fact, I'd love to see more of that.
I'm sure there are more little things about the whole thing. For one, it's clear that Micro is taking the Paragon route (with the occasional Renegade play), and it shows in how the characters react. Though in real-life (which this is implied to be at least at the start - as in "like reality unless otherwise noted") people don't turn around from years of betrayal and hate that quickly (Winter, Diamond). I'm still enjoying it a lot though, because I tend to max out my "good guy" chances in most games, even going as far as to cheat quest flags sometimes, just so I can get the best-of-the-best ending...
As for things I have mixed feelings about:
The whole "harem" thing was a bit too quick perhaps, but paradoxically I liked it as-is. In fact, it feels as though it's really tertiary to the overarching plot, so it had to happen compactly, so to speak - get into it, get it done. I'd like to see more of that, though - this is already wish fulfillment in the extreme, so throw me a bone. ;) (yes, I know, you threw me a boner or two with Fluttershy and Frida there... ;P)
I have some problems with how he's not really 15 (that's about right, right?), not mentally anyway - I'm sure Gamer's Mind helps out with that, but he obviously didn't have a "normal childhood" in any case (perhaps there's a side-story in there somewhere? you don't get to be this protective and responsible unless something happened when you weren't, and you lost big time)
Also, I know this isn't focused on the Main 7, but I'm feeling like they're just not there (excl. Flutters). Also, what's going un with Luna and Celestia? There was at least one time where going for their help would've been a smart thing to do, and he has to have some credit saved up with them.
I know that most of the things I mentioned are actually a double-edged sword - in that they increase enjoyment for some, but decrease it for others... like willingly making this guy's abilities slightly OP and sticking with it, despite the rule of drama demanding he not be able to win every fight! Though if you're in a game, the point is to keep winning right?
In any case, I do hope you continue. The things I've mentioned are small, but they stack up. Also, what's up with the zombie teeth?
Also, more quests! ;)
9783341
A few of the things you mentioned will be addressed in the future. As for the zombie teeth, I mainly did that for a bit of consistency with the original gamer comic, but I don’t know if it will come up later.
9783352
Thinking about it some more, there are three issues I'd like to see somehow resolved... though this isn't M-rated enough to resolve them to my satisfaction, I suppose... ;]
First - once you get genderbender powers, and you're originally a hormonal teenager (of either sex, let's be clear on that), you explore. Hard and thoroughly. This never happened, and if it did - it wasn't mentioned at all. I'm officially calling bullshit on that.
Second - having a female clone around? You do realize that he could have sex any time he wants, with a girl that looks like just about anyone. He could fulfill all of his sexual fantasies. Again, calling bullshit. Why not?
Third - where would he get any idea on how a female body should look like, even? Much less his own version. I assume he's seen porn in his life? If he has not, then... um...? And if he has, the two points above are reinforced to hell and back.
Just sayin'.
Also, harem clop when? :D
9783364
Will be touched on eventually.
9783367
Which bit? ;D
9783352
As for the teeth: maybe they're not useful as-is, but in many games you can grind bones down to make bone meal, which might be useful for magic-oriented stuff. Hell, it might be something of a taboo among magical users, seeing as you need bones of a living thing for that, but... he probably has an infinite supply of that, now, doesn't he? Twilight might be interested... and I'm sure there are magical skill trees related to this stuff that are usually left firmly theoretical, due to the reasons I've mentioned...
Or maybe people just find it icky, I don't know. You could purchase these by the kilogram form a friendly neighbourhood slaughterhouse, I suppose...
