9476247 Suddenly the world dissolves into colored sparkles and I hear a voice. "Greetings prisoner number 43561, thank you for volunteering to participate in the experimental Deep Mind rehabilitation course. You have been in artificial REM stasis for....NINE......NINE....NINE.....NINE....NINE.... ERROR! UNAUTHORISED USER DETECTED!...." As I slowly begin to wake up I hear a new voice... "Hey buddy. Welcome to the Wasteland."
A long awaited meeting indeed, and with a happy ending. Man those Elements of Harmony must be powerful to rebuild an entire planet from near devastation! On a different note, something that has been nagging at the back of my mind while reading the trilogy... Where was Discord throughout this whole thing? Sure, he may be the embodiment of Chaos, but even he wouldn't stand for all out war and death of the scale shown in these stores. His chaos is more playing with the laws of physics, reality and general mischief. Plus he has been reformed and learning to be good in the main series, and being friends with Fluttershy helps this, he should have done something. True, you wouldn't want a Draquenes-ex-machina to solve everything, but a mention of what happened to him, or even have him try to help but be totally overwhelmed by a bomb or something would be nice.
9479288 When I was brainstorming the trilogy, I did plan for Discord to appear in 'Sunfall' (complete with a Deus Ex style, 'I never asked for this' joke with Silverspeak's prosthetics), but I wasn't able to figure how to fit him in due to his reality-warping powers, which could solve most of the story's problems in minutes, so he was removed.
9480098 The story's not finished, if that's what you're wondering (we still have two chapters to go). But with regards to a sequel or spinoff, I don't have any in the works.
9481112 Drat. Would've been interesting to see his struggles as he seeks forgiveness for actions from those he hurt. Yes I know Celestia forgave him, but what about Luna? Or the dead's familys? Will they?
Well, that felt kind of...lacklustre? I mean, I know Silverspeak's betrayal of the moonbase to Mangus kind of puts a damper on the conversation, but I felt like that conversation was too neat and quick for the two considering Silverspeak is a guy who has been involved in three major incidents, two of them being wars which he directly put a stop to, and Celestia is, well, Celestia. It felt like they were talking just to get out of the way that Silverspeak and Celestia have finally met, and give Silverspeak a bit of internal healing from getting Celestia's forgiveness. Silverspeak and Luna talking at the end of the first story was more impactful when Silverspeak asked Luna why the Alicorn sisters didn't interfere in the production of the limbs and wings and Luna told him why. Silverspeak at this point probably has been as impactful as the Mane 6 will be to Equestrian history. History will see a really weird sort of dualism between him and Mangus. It just feels so cut short.
I kind of think that when Silverspeak asked Celestia what she would have done in his position in the caverns in Manehatten to free Beakbreaker, Celestia shouldn't have made the assumption that in his place, she would be trying to free Beakbreaker. She should have been thinking what she would have done if it was Luna who was imprisoned there.
Finally a happy ending for Silver.
...
Unless the Author has a cruel dark twist to throw into the mix?

Any chance of sequel? Maybe Slice of Life theme for Silverspeak and his family?

It's currently being revised and should be up by the end of the month.
Cool
