I dislike Of Love or Lust, but after this story i am thinking about giving another shot.
7505684 Don't force yourself, now. If you think it sucks, it sucks. I kinda agree, to be honest.
7505728 Hell I'll give anything you write a chance after reading this fic pinhead larry
7505728 So I won't. Thanks for support. It is relief that we both agreed on this. But The Therapist is great.
Also can't wait for the next chapter this is gonna be a new favorite of mine homeslice
Plum Jam is disgusting.
This dude seems pretty beta.
He can treat people like trash and receive little more than threats with no foreseeable repercussions, he is fawned over and well liked indescribably by many of those he meets which blatantly ignores his supposed handicap of being unacknowledged as anything other than an vocal dump for their problems.
Now he's practally having mares throw themselves at him and apparently he's well known in his field despite not having any sort of formal training or degree or any sort of official recognition from the powers that be.
His apathy is highly selective, his deductive skills lead him to a conclusion that Sherlock Holmes would have trouble finding, and his personality seems to deliberately shift based on whatever it needs to be at the time.
It has become horribly apparently that this is probably the worst case of Mary Sue to hit the feature box since "What's your story, Morning Glory?" and this blows that even out of the water.
Doesn't quite add up...
7511666 Although I somewhat agree with you allow me to add my opinion. 1. Threats. Although I agree with your points think of the threats he received from Luna and Celestia. He has insulted the very rulers of Equestria with little to no consequence. Why?(in my opinion) Only one person of an entirely different species who seems to pose no harm as he stands has popped in out of nowhere. (Twilight's scientific interest in him may also have something to do with it) For all they know he is the only one of his species they will ever see. 2. Mares. As the mares have stated,"strong build" "good listener" and such. Although my dubunking of this point is weak, Think they may like him because he's, well, different...(This counterargument is really weak but it's all I got) 3. Personality. I agree with your point completely. I'm not trying to say that he isn't a, "Gary Stu" but I just didn't completely agree with all your point.
7511791 this was her first vent session. the other times i'm guessing were for the custom made clothes he probably orders only from her.
Can definitely tell he's not a wine drinker if he's serving a bottle of Red on ice.
For anyone who doesn't know, you don't really drink red wine cold - you store it somewhere cool (not cold, just below average room temp - which is why wine cellars are a thing), pop it open and leave it alone to let it breathe for a bit before serving in a wide-brimmed wine glass to allow it to continously aerate (and helps the overall flavour profile because the smell mixes with the taste while drinking).
Champagnes, White wines and Rosé wines are best served chilled and the type of glass is less important (although Champagnes/Sparkling Wines are often served in narrower fluted glasses, as many believe it increases the concentration of bubbles you get when you take a drink), but generally they aren't served Ice Cold either - the whole "ice bucket" thing is just to help keep it cool at your table (especially in a restaurant, a warm room full of people, sweltering kitchen with ovens and grills etc on the go, hot meals/plates everywhere and often lit candles at the tables etc), and it's often easier/cheaper for restaurants to just grab some of their ice (which is cheap and multipurpose) and stick the bottle in with it to cool it quickly and keep it that way at your table than it would be for them to have a whole fridge constantly running 24/7 just for their wines.
And don't get me started on cocktails...
