By the Lion, that was an intense chapter! But the Sons of Sanguinis never faltered, and these heretics shall FALL!
7502651 OH. I honestly thought it was something else.
Once more the chapter has proven itself to be of fine quality. Come my brothers, let us celebrate this joyous moment of excellent stories, AND UNREASONABLE HATRED!
Two questions, can spike attemp heroic intervention, and will Thorax have scout, infiltrate or accute senses USR?
7503067 Do you mean Glorious Intervention? Because Heroic Intervention is kind of useless (unless I'm reading the wrong rules for it, which is completely possible).
I have no idea how Thorax will be statted. At the moment the focus is on dealing with Manehatten. Those definitely seem like what changelings would have, however, so thanks for the idea!
EDIT: the answer to your first question is (if I've parsed it right) yes. I'll give him that Vanguard Vet Sarge rule.
YES NEW AWESOME CHAPTER
Also it still sucks that we won't see any guardsmen proper. I just finished reading the Imperial Munitorum Manual and it puts into a whole new light how little of a shit the Departmento Munitorum gives for your average guardsman. The book literally says that if you have the choice between saving a man or his weapon (provided it's not a lasgun because Emperor knows the Imperium has plenty of those) you should save his weapon and leave the man for dead. If you don't your punishment is 30 lashes. No joke dude, no joke.
YAY GRIMDARK
7503125 In this, you are most likely correct, and tactical use of ablative wounds is always good thing.
Just found this gem of a story, and am enjoying it immensely :) Keep up the good work!
