Yeah, but she's a nice science-pony. A bit crazy, sometimes.

I feel a lot better for Gel now that he's in somewhat safer hooves. Somewhat, who know what Princess Twilight might get a notion to do in the name of science?
The overall feel of the story seems just a little lighter now, and I hope things get better for the little puddle.

Well. That was a quickest set up and boring removal of an interesting conflict that I've seen. Now I'm just disappointed. Might get back to this story some other time.
I feel like I have a bit of mood whiplash. This was shaping up to be a very dark story. I'm kinda glad it didn't go down that path.

It seemed to be going the way of a tragic story, and averted at the last moment. I take it you were looking for something darker?

There's no reason it'd have to go tragic, though that was obviously direction it was heading. The issue I find is that the only thing the story did well in the first three chapters was set up a single conflict that then resolved instantly with no pay off. Just a snap and it was gone. It could have resolved with more tension and character interaction to make the set up pay off, only temporarily resolve with a band-aid solution to add some on-going tension, or gone down the tragic path as you mentioned.
There's various ways to solve or not solve conflicts, insta-fixing them with no tension isn't usually a good way to go about it.
Lástima tan malo el capitulo que no vale la pena seguir leyendo la historia, lástima que iba tan bien.
7377558 Sorry to hear that. What didn't you like about it?
7378161 Ignoring almiok's grumpy rant, I'm liking this, can always tell a good story when, as you read, you can see the characters moving and speaking in your mind, backgrounds included even if not how the author pictures them, unless explained in detail, but something fitting anyway. Has a sense of reality to it, not so good ones tend to draw a blank and soon turn you away.
It's a shame what happened to Pattern, because Gel doesn't know her real name, he will never be able to tell her family what happened. with his memories restored, this and what he was forced to do to her will haunt him for life.
Besides seeming a little fast paced, this story is awesome!!!
7880173 Yeah, I have brought my pace down a little since I wrote this. Glad you are enjoying it!
