edit: reading when coming from a party again.
I know sometimes it is just like that (and a universe where they are just stronger than humans), but at least he can transform into a wolf, otherwise I would want him to have something special know.
However I supposed that doesn't exactly makes her better, that bow I mean.
I might see it different tomorrow again, but I like to think that if he would get some skills that he would be able to do as good as her, even if he would have to be more precise instead of shooting trough everything.
what arrows did they used? I would expect the shield to destroy the arrow. (I'm to lazy to search for the right word, but I guess you can image what I meant..when the normal? arrow hit the "very durable shield".
I have to ask again to understand your world bulding a bit better again and I just think the idea would be interessting. Does this world change his body somehow?, maybe that with enough training his muscles could get strong enough to use her special bow?
Maybe he could actually reach some sort of werewolf state with his transformation? Today I'm just in a mood for something strange happening to him.
Thank you for the new chapter.
8685788 Is there something wrong with Luna being more powerful than Travis? She has the power to move the moon and has been alive for over at least a thousand years (so a lot of experience). It sounds like you want me to make Travis into a Gary Stu.
And perhaps in terms of skill, he could become as good as her if he lives for at least a thousand years. It's hard to beat a thousand years of experience in any subject.
Luna used a specifically designed arrow when she shot through the shields. It was essentially like a ballista (siege weapon) bolt, but stronger. Also, the inscriptions on the bow add to its power through enchantment.
The world itself won't change his body, but it makes it easier for him to use his newfound magic. It would take a lot of training for him to use her bow, and even then it wouldn't be full power.
And in terms of your last point, perhaps if he practices his magic enough.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on that first point. I don't want Travis becoming OP because that would just turn him into a typical Mary Sue protagonist which is something that happens in many of these kinds of fics and it ruins the whole story. The Princesses should always be more powerful or at least more skilled than the human character, I mean it makes a whole lot of sense. Unless the human is willing to go through many, many years of training but even than that doesn't always mean he/she should be at the Princesses level of skill. There needs to be some balance.
Anyways great chapter like always.
8686448 Exactly, I'm making sure that there is a balance and that Travis doesn't become too overpowered. Also, he's new to a lot of stuff, so there's no way he'd be powerful with anything this early on in the story. He will have to go through a lot of very difficult training to truly become a real player in terms of combat or magic.
And it's good to see you enjoying my story still.
