Our ability to change mostly refers to our ability to think and adapt as any situation calls for it. Humans share a similar trait as Human adaptability rivals our own. It was such a trait which endeared Humans to is in the first place."
should be us
Looks like things are start look good ....... yet we still have this prophecy (I only hope that it will not be TOO grimdark)
I have really enjoyed these last few chapters. They have been downright fantastic to me.
Honestly on that front, I can't think of what else I can say. They have all been a treat and I cannot say I really have any complaints about any of them at all.
The things I am most worried about is Hiriboshi rearing his ugly head and making a bigger mess of things. I'd love to believe he's been gone and dealt with and we have no more worries about him anymore, but I doubt we're that lucky.

I know right? Something tells me it will be some group who went rogue which we already have hints of and maybe grows from people who don't trust or want aliens on our planet.
8954795 Good catch. I'll fix that when I get the chance.
thanks for the birthday present aka a new chapter
8955306 Happy birthday then!
I see an update, click, and discover several unread chapters...
I think FimFiction is screwing with me.
8955406 It always does.
I dont know why but this won't show up in my tracking folder??? weird right
8955577 That has been the case since the first story.

oh well ok then
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Chinese government is going to call this artful blather. You know, at least until firsthand meetings.

Not quite correct. Manic Depression is the former clinical term for Bi-Polar disorder. Yes, there are many forms of Bi-Polar disorder, but none of them are named "Manic Depression". They are the same thing. As someone who's had it all his life, I'm pretty familiar with it. But just to make sure I wasn't entirely off my rocker, I double-checked multiple articles before posting my comment. They all say the same thing "Manic Depression" and Bi-Polar are the same thing, with "Manic Depression" as a clinical term is no longer used. It is still used informally by some people, but they mean the same disorder.
Nice to see a long running series still up, labelled incompete but with a recent update. Im exicted to be sure.
8970793 I'm working on the next chapter.
To be holy
(I regret nothing!)
... aaaand caught up. Fascinating read. Im still curious about the organization that took care of The Event. How did it end up with a military man on charge? I'd expect such a thing to deliberately underplay its military strength for political reasons.
I found the handling of the gender ratio over the course of the series fascinating, though I did find it a bit odd that stallions were still used on wars exclusively. I suppose its the only thing that can keep population growth under control- even with no accidental pregnancies, we're still talking about a culture with a replacement rate of 1.2 young per female, rather than the human rate of 2. It must be very common for mares to be satisfied by one child, or a huge swath of females never having foals for whatever reason. I'd expect this society to very quickly catch up with its carrying capacity, but it apparently stays well below. Makes me wonder what is keepingnit down.
I also found your take on Pony homophobia interesting, and uniquely hypocritical in a way that makes it fascinating and very realistic.
I'll be waiting for updates with baited breath.
well i was entertained. excited for the nect chapter

He is making decisions he is not mandated to do, deceiving everyone for his own deluded ideals. He was given a great trust and he decides to go for a power trip playing god with fate of humanity since OBVIOUSLY only he knows what is good for it.
Even if he was doing (he is not) the right things he is doing them in ways which are abhorrent, not to mention that i would consider him mentally unstable and a threat to humanity and ponies from the position of power he has. In essence he is too wrapped up in his own delusions and need to act, he has no restraints.
Then again what is villain really? Even the Grand Magus had his reasons.
9115847 Was The Empire from Star Wars was in the right? Was Emperor Palpatine a paragon of good? The general does not see himself as a villain, no villains do. Stalin, Pol Pot, Mussolini, Hitler, the Emperors of Japan, all of them saw themselves as heroes and they massacred, raped, and destroyed the lives of millions by their own justification, 'I'm making the world a better place, but only for us. Nobody else matters.'
I design villains according to what is reasonable to Humanity. It may not be believable by most, but consider this: if I wrote about a villain who massacred over a million people on the basis of racism, readers would say the villain was unrealistic, yet history shows that those kinds of events have happened frequently throughout all of history.

I have no idea, but I do make the most intimidating sounds when I’m flying.
https://m.Found a typo, and unlike last time i copied the sentence, so just CTRL+f and paste this in.
Human adaptability rivals our own. It was such a trait which endeared Humans to is in the first place."
I believe 'is' in this sentence is supposed to be 'us'.
Keep up the good work!
Im loving it!
10960111 Fixed, thanks.
