Getting drunk doesn't change who we are... it just brings it to the surface...
Me thinks more than a few drunken escapades will come of this little venture!
Artex be careful, theirs a stray Pegasus looking for the perfect Stallion... and you are it pal!

Speaking from personal experience...

If you know what I mean.
The aftermath if the drinking games is going to be:
A) hilarious
B) awkward to the Nth degree
C)end very badly hangover wise.
As the Romans would say En Vino Veritas. In wine, truth. If Visceral Slaughter gets involved though all bets are off.
Yay! New chapter!
Artex still has an empty spot in his herd. Do Feather Tip got the booty?
I feared that when it came up, we'd find out that ponies never got around to inventing foreplay.
If they've always done something a certain way, and it works they simply don't look for a better way. The availability of convenient, magical solutions explains some but not all of Equestria's cultural stagnation.
Now that we're seeing more of their preferred leadership style, I have to wonder if their leaders are the biggest reason ponies are so bad at innovation.
At the beginning of the story, Celestia talked about teaching ponies to solve their own problems. What she actually did was come up with solutions, without any input from the little people, and then subtly manipulate everyone, cutting off their options one by one, trying to force them to reach the same conclusion she already had. At first, I thought that was just how she is, but then the Trottingham Mayor took the same approach when she was resolving the mess with Artex.
Seems to me that approach to leadership discourages independent thought, trains everyone to think like the leader, and reduces the total amount of brainpower being devoted to solving any given problem.
They could get more done if their leaders had enough faith in their people to lay out their problems honestly and brainstorm solutions.
7066122 Hmm... I wonder if you're right.
Wait... if Feather Tip and Razor are related and Feather joined their herd, wouldn't that mean it was incest?
Or do herds not work that way and I'm just being dumb?
Getting to meet teh family is intresting times.
Now Artex has to see if he can survive the family drink?

They are not related. They are childhood friends.
More
I smell a human related romance of some kind. Hoping it's not with Artex, honestly.

Imgur blacklisted FiMFiction, so that link doesn't work.
7067902
Just curious, why?
7067902 Sorry, forgot about that little blacklisting thing... Sad business, that.
7067902
Just take the
off of the url and it works.
7069403 The film came out well after his group was taken from Earth. Why?
7069493
Oh? Well, that's handy.

Nothing against Artex, or anything like that. It's kind of hard to put into words why, but it feels like it would be kind of forced. Like you will have introduced her just so she could join the herd (which I realize sort of happened with Oriana, but it's obvious that there's more to it than that in-story).
man my favorites folder just does not want to play nice with your story. i havent gotten a single notice of it updating since before he got on the train to trottingham. anyway so i just finished getting caught up and i got say that the awkward sex talk seance with Mason made me laugh.
fyi here is a short list foods that have/are grasses, flowers, or even trees humans commonly eat without realizing it
corn (domesticated grass)
cauliflower (take a guess)
beer (contains hops which are a flower)
BBQ and any sort of smoked meats (often flavored using apple and/or hickory trees)
Bread (made with flour which comes from wheat which is a grass, explain that logic)
anything made with sugar or molasses
maple syrup (again trees)
7075868 I know. I have a friend who picks and washes dandelions to put in his salads.

Could be a good reason why it’s called a “herd mentality”
The show frequently depicts everything as just ordinary people with weird shapes and sometimes a little odd cultural quirks. But authors here tend to put a lot more thought into their works, sometimes slipping in stuff that reminds us that these “people” truly are alien creatures, with completely different mental outlooks on life.
We may not always like what we see the characters do or think, but there’s sometimes a good reason why the author takes the story in that direction—because ponies, griffons, dragons, changelings, etc aren’t human.

Cool! Dandelion salad is quite tasty, not just the flowers, but the leaves and stems are edible, too. However, you have to be careful where you get them, as everyone breaks out their jugs of Roundup and start spraying like there’s no tomorrow at the mere sight of a dandelion flower
Even your own yard isn’t safe if you’ve got neighbors who don’t care if they and you come down with cancer
My shipping senses are tingling with Feather Tip.......
