Winona and Applejack had a strong bond. But this all changed when Applejack's sudden death occurs, and Winona doesn't know. She's a dog, of course she wouldn't understand.

Based off of the story of a dog called Hachiko. Hachiko was born in 1923. He always waited for his master, Professor Ueno, to come off the train. One day, Ueno died at work, and therefore never returned home. For the next decade, Hachiko waited for his master to return at the exact same time the train arrived and the exact same spot until Hachiko himself died, in 1935 due to a cancer. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko is sitting outside Shibuya Station which was built a year before his death. Also, two pawprints are marked exactly where Hachiko used to sit, waiting for his master.
