This is wonderful so far. I am going to finish this up now, and I will let you know how it is. Also, I saw a couple mistakes along the way, but that was before a fell asleep. If you want me to, I could review these two chapters for you. Being that I read the first, you will probably get a few grammar errors and stuff pointed out and a lot of compliments. Well, if you want me to do this, I am available to do it, and all you have to do is reply to this message. Thank you for this wonderful masterpiece, and I will finish this story in a moment.

Does anyone else think that everyone was far too hard on Rarity, it's pretty easy to criticise her when everything's come out, would Fluttershy have been able to just tell Rarity how she felt if the tables were turned? Great Story though
This is a good story, but I completely disagree with Fluttershy. When you have a crush on someone, that is yours, and I don't understand how she can demand that confession from Rarity like it is a given. No amount of friendship or platonic trust changes how intimate something like that is to an individual. Should Rarity even feel bad? I mean, Fluttershy said being let in on Rarity's feeling and struggles was so important, but look what she did to her when she found out. Sure, she felt bad for the secret admirer, but as soon as she knew who it was, as soon as Rarity FINALLY trusted her, she threw her under the bus like trash. The cherry on top is that she demanded that intimate confidence from Rarity, but didn't really act all that enthusiastic about the prospect of a relationship when it came down to it. It almost sounds like she would have let her down easy under normal circumstances, which is fine, but what does all that "trust" really amount to if Rarity was right all along. If Rarity has fallen so hard that she'll never get over her, it isn't as if Fluttershy can just magically stop Rarity from loving her in order to spare her the heartbreak. She says she could be trusted but it DID hurt their friendship and it DID change things when Rarity told her. Why should time matter? How early did Rarity have to confess for it to be good enough? The minute, the second, the moment she knew how she felt about Fluttershy, or even before she was sure, perhaps?
I'm sorry to go off like this, and I'm sure I'm forgetting important details that make Fluttershy's reaction more logical, but it seems almost abusive how she treated Rarity these last few chapters. If someone did this to me in real life, I don't know if I could emotionally cope with it, let alone take them back.
Still, I really feel the author has written something compelling. Maybe it is just too powerful for its own good. Maybe I've missed something important enough to render everything I've just typed hollow horse apples. Either way, I will definitely continue reading.
1417186 I have to agree, Flutters was pretty emotionally abusive to Rarity. On the surface, the only justification for lashing out like that against Rarity would be how Rarity hid behind the anonymity she gained from the letter and comforted Fluttershy and herself while they sorted out their feelings over that period of time. But like Viethra asked, why should time matter? In the end, Rarity gave all her power away to Fluttershy, and Fluttershy accepted all of it, as if confessions and trust are only important for the person being confessed to, rather than both of them. When you confess to someone, you are quite literally exposing a deep vulnerability to them, and hoping that the person they are confessing to won't crush that vulnerability, and their heart. Like Viethra said, it was Rarity's crush and she had every right to guard her heart until she felt she was ready be honest, not to trust Fluttershy, but to trust in herself and the feelings that derived a bond she wanted to strengthen with Fluttershy.
1513579 Well, there were also the parts where Rarity dressed and undressed Fluttershy under the guise of innocently helping her for her date and the parts where she used her position as Fluttershy's confidante on the matter to drop advice that was in her own best interest without indicating that she had a stake in the outcome. It's manipulative and deceptive.
Calling what happened emotional abuse is an exaggeration, even if you think Fluttershy's reaction stronger than warranted. Having an argument isn't emotional abuse, nor is declaring that someone has violated your trust when they really have violated your trust. Perhaps Rarity wasn't required to reveal her crush but then she should have recused herself from prying into Fluttershy's side of things and pushing her reactions.
Ho boy :3
The excitement
Yay! I only had to suffer through misery for a month before you made everything better!
... You gigantic jerk, you.
Emotions.
This chapter has them.
Does Opal in this chapter remind anyone else of Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service?
XD por que casi me haces llorar
Well... We are talking about Fluttershy, the kindest of Ponies.
I hadn't expected her to give Rarity another chance so quickly.
