An encounter with an exotic mare leaves Prince Blueblood in an unexpected situation, one he will have to deal with for months, eleven months to be specific.
Though I normally avoid "body horror" stories like the plague, I'm willing to give this a try, mostly because it isn't focusing entirely on the horror of the situation itself. I did smile, too, when I noticed the "magic centered on horn, wings, hooves" thing. I wonder if this was written before I posited the exact same thing in TPC? I do also enjoy Twilight Sparkle, Aspiring Research Scientist!
Edit With respect to if "Abortion" should be brought up, one should not mistake pregnancy for parasitism. This case is entirely the latter, the only difference being that the parasite is expected to turn sapient in X number of months and years. Even the most erudite, intelligent, emotionally expressive and charming tapeworm is still a parasite, though. Absolutely horrific.
4383414 I'm a fan of each pony type having their own kind of magic, as opposed to magic just being a unicorn thing. I probably have more discussions of earth pony magic in my stories than most writers. And I think it's pretty common to see pegasus and earth pony magic to be manifested through wings and hooves. Since the only one of your stories I've read is A Night to Remember, I didn't see it in This Platinum Crown.
And the "parasite", in this story, does draw half its genetic material from Blueblood.
And that's why kids you use a condom
3784073 i know, but it's a sex joke
3784428 Its what you say when someone get knocked up
So he is going to try and terminate the pregnancy? It's his body.
3784962 Remember that he's been told that, because of the magic involved in this process, his body won't allow it.
I have zero desire to include a political discussion about abortion in a pony fic.
