When Trixie tried an advanced teleportation spell, she was expecting to pop up in the next town. Instead, she found herself in a creepy research station on Mars...
Definitely do more, buddy! This is the very first Doom crossover that is so thorough in worldbuilding on this site, and I'm loving Trixie's hijinks in Mars City.
You're just suffering from an unfortunately common illness of this stie, one we call lack of recognition.
3417946 I do love worldbuilding Are there a lot of Doom crossovers anyway ? The only one I read was this one and it's pretty good, but more of a parody. I'm trying to go for a really dark tone here. It's something I've always loved in Doom 3, the atmosphere is really horrible while the classic games were mostly "fun with guns" (which was cool, but in a different way).
Lack of recognition unfortunately happens all the time and not just on this site. Guess it's something we all have to get used to, unless we're the lucky one who gets all the attention... Anyways, if I look at the ratio of likes or faves by views, this is officially the best story I've written ! I'll probably keep going, at least to the point where things become bloody. Normally, that should be the next chapter...
3419763 ... but why would you stop writing just when things start getting good? If creativity's the problem, I don't mind helping. If you're interested, PM me!
3419914 It's just kinda depressing to write something that (almost) nobody will read...
Before I wrote fanfic here I've tried writing other stuff and sometimes got absolutely no feedback/comment at all. Seriously, it's really horrible to spend time working on something and then have no one even bothering to tell you that it sucks. It makes you feel like you don't even exist...
The last multi-chapter story I've written had about 8 people following it and only one commenting regularly. It was hard to keep writing, knowing that only a small handful of guys were going to take the time to read my stuff... I think I only went through with it because it was relatively short overall. I guess it was worth it in the end : I (mostly) like how the story turned out and the few who read it seemed to have enjoyed it, but it was still really hard for me. Especially since my previous story had made it to the top of the feature box... and I still can't figure out why that particular one did. Was it Scootaloo ? I dunno...
In any case, I've got 15 faves here. I seem to be making some progress, I've even got enough people for a rugby team now ! I suppose I will keep writing.
3420138 I know, dude, I know. I've written a crossover myself (I'm yet to transplant it to this site), and the lack of feedback is depressing, to say the least.
That said, one thing to keep in mind is that writing any sort of fiction is often a lonely affair. In the end and especially when it comes to fan fiction, you'll have to write because you want to, not because you're counting on feedback. More often than not, it's a side-effect.
3420162 Indeed... For some of the stuff that I've published here, I knew that I wouldn't get many readers. I was almost counting on it, actually. It makes me feel like a misunderstood artist
This story, however, is just for entertainment. I doesn't have much of a message...
Scratch that. I've just changed my mind. I'll make this deeper. That'll give me a good reason to continue.
Well, I've been enjoying your story so far and would like to see it continue. I haven't seen any major issues so far.
About the only criticism I can come up with in this part is that I felt the Trixie chase was drawn out a little too long. It's not really a biggie and I'm really just stretching here.
Knowing that Trixie makes it out alive lessens some of the tension but for all the others....
3422346 I see. I'm not used to writing action stories (not that I'm an experienced author, but still...) so I need to find some kind of balance between action and non-action parts. Expect some trial-and-error here; hopefully it won't be too bad
3585505 Cool ! You shouldn't have to wait too long, the next chapter is progressing very, very slowly, but it's getting close now. I really need to find a way to speed up my writing...
Another great addition.

We'll see what you believe in when I get 666 faves for this story... *insert creepy evil laugh* Thank you for your contribution, mortal!
Seriously, thanks
I really should have read this earlier because this is great. I've really enjoyed reading what you have done so far and am looking forward to more.
