Hmm, this looks pretty decent, and you're the first one (that I myself am aware of anyway) to actually differentiate between storyline and DLC content from the Fallout 3 and New Vegas games.
Will add to my 'Read Later' to be completed after the Blooming Moon Chronicles.
Aw, I wanted to know more about the blue changeling.
That's not something you can just have a single sentence about. At the very least, Webby should be interested in another changeling (the first they've met? I think?) showing up, even if Cait didn't manage to save her. It's not even clear if she survived or not.
are timber wolves a thing still?
5765260 Probably should be asking this question on the blog, but since this was asked here, might as well respond with my head canon on the theory regarding Timber Wolves. The Everfree Forest was never struck directly with a balefire bomb since there were no significant targets ever built into the forest, and that it represented an already hostile environment that didn't need further nuking. However with the years the Taint spread to the Everfree forest as well as the off scene considered 'death' of the tree of harmony going out due to the elements never having been returned to it. This is my head canon way to explain what sort of plants were seen in Littlepips book as mutated plant life along with the other creatures that Kkat wrote about. However, I don't think Aria is going to be encountering most of this since The Everfree is just north of central Equestria while Vanhoover was on the story's north western edge of the same country.
Then comes the topic of Timber Wolves. This will be explored in some of the sub species in the future, unless you're talking about traditional actual species of wolf, in which case, Scrapyard is not a Timber-Wolf but a Gray Wolf. If you want some more information, feel free to ask on the blog which has been noted in several of the chapters ending sequences.
5763961 Foreshadowing my dear Jackal, and also some of this may be explored eventually. Perhaps not even in somepony elses story at that.
