Often when others forgive, we find it hard to forget what we've done, but if we forget, and don't want to remember, does that mean we shouldn't be forgiven. This is the story of King SombraCrystal Step, and his new life, with the love of his life, Maud Pie.

On the planet Scadrial, all of ponykind is subject to a godlike being known as the Lord Ruler. The upper-class is privileged, while the lower-class is oppressed. Not everypony is happy with that, and some will go to great lengths for change.

This is a crossover with Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy. You do not need to have read Mistborn to understand this; it's written under the assumption that you haven't. This takes place on Scadrial, the world that Mistborn takes place on, but the events of the trilogy haven't happened on this version of the planet. Some plot elements are borrowed.

After Maud is injured on the Rock Family rock farm, Pinkie's latent divine powers, augmented by what she accidentally absorbs from Maud, reawaken the goddess that created Equestria. This goddess is not pleased with the world she sees and goes on a destructive rampage to 'cleanse this world.' It's up to Twilight and the others to stop goddess-Pinkie before everyone and everything they know and love is lost forever.
