It's the first annual Carousal Congregation, a semi-formal meeting where all of Rarity's business partners meet up and, theoretically, discuss the business of fashion. After all, keeping up with trends from across Equestria is always important. And it couldn't hurt to meet the boss's other employees. It's not like they're from entirely different social spheres with no similarity at all, right?

Mr Stripes is a stallion with a problem. It's Plaid's birthday, and he's nearly out of time and ideas for a gift.

That, and an eldritch horror from the depths of the earth has wandered into Manehattan.

Today, her dad allowed her to go to Ponyville to visit the Spoon Festival where spoons of different kinds are displayed and sold and exchanged.

So, Plaid Stripes wears her spoon earrings and goes to Ponyville.
