//------------------------------// // Friendship Resolution // Story: Rainbow Paradise // by Lonely Fanboy48 //------------------------------// The sun rises above the mountains in Ponyville while the Spring season begins. Everypony during this time of year go to different locations to either grow new plants in the garden or take the days off to enjoy sightseeing. Back at Twilight’s castle in one of her rooms, Star Tracker wakes up and slowly gets up from bed. It’s been a few months since he’s been staying at her idol’s castle, something he never thought he would ever earned in his life. It took him time to get all his things from his old home from Canterlot but it was understandable to move. “Is it just me or is these three months feel what life is like?” Tracker said to himself. “I mean I did help Twilight with their work around the castle while meeting her friends from time but it feels less amazing then I thought.” Once he gets out of bed, he looked at his mirror with pictures of him and his friends doing activities at the School of Friendship. His best friends Sandbar and Silverstream are going to Starlight’s Village to meet Night Glider today for a visit since it’s been awhile since the last time they met. “I wonder what unexpected friendship lessons I’m going to do.” After he took a shower, he came out of his room and made his way to the kitchen. Just like Starlight Glimmer who needed a lot of time to mesmerize the hallways, Star Tracker took the time on his own to remember where he needs to go although it still feels awkward to live in a castle this way. He went into the kitchen where Starlight and Twilight are placing grilled cheese sandwiches on the table. “Good morning Twilight and Starlight.” He greed as he decides to help. “Morning Star Tracker.” Twilight replied. “So what are you going to do for today?” Starlight asked. Star Tracker who placed silverware by the plates, answers Starlight’s question. “I’m going to your old village with my friends so we can visit Night Glider.” “You mean the one you helped to complete your assignment?” Twilight wondered. “Yes it is.” Once everything was set for breakfast, they all took a seat and Spike came in the room. “Sorry I was late, I had to use the bathroom.” He panted. “It’s okay, your just in time.” Twilight recalled. As he took his by Star Tracker, he’s more respectful to him since he did helped him with his schedule. “Morning Spike.” Tracker said nicely. “Morning Tracker, any plans for helping me? I really need to help Applejack and her farm.” Spike taking out his list of plans for today. “Sorry Spike but he’s going to my old village instead.” Starlight filling in. “I haven’t talked to Night Glider in a long time and I really need to help her.” Star Tracker took a bite of his grilled cheese sandwich, trying to keep an open mind for this season. The sad thing other then going to see Night Glider, he has nothing else to do. Spike despite a bit disappointed accepts the fact Star Tracker has resolutions of his own. “Okay, then again it’s been since Hearth’s Warming when you moved in and I think we could do something afterwards.” This gives Twilight an idea. “Hey maybe tonight you two should do something together after your done with your schedules.” “Great idea.” Starlight commented. “We could if I knew what activities we can do for this season.” Tracker frowned. “You mean Spring?” Twilight spoked in surprise to which his fan nodded. “What’s wrong with Spring?” Spike asked. “While I liked Summer, Autumn and especially Winter, I found Spring just being your fourth season of the year with nothing special. It’s not that I hate this season, I just never do anything unique to make this season fun for me.” After explaining about his opinions he continues to eat his sandwich. Starlight and Spike was more confused while Twilight is rather impressed. “Is it me or is Tracker awkward in a way we know more about him?” Starlight making an awkward look at Spike. “You know, people have different opinions, I’m sure you have problems with your least favorite season.” Tracker retorted while also taking offense. “It’s not that, it’s just we never heard any pony say about Spring being their least favorite season.” Spike replied. Tracker never thought his personal opinions would take some effort of his teachers. It’s one thing for not trying to impress the princess last holiday for how long they know each but four seasons in one year was more bizarre for his knowledge. Twilight who has been listening this whole conversation found another thing she can do for Star Tracker. For her she likes all the seasons in the year even if bad weather invades and for Spring, she has something Star Tracker for a possible activity. “I think we talked enough. We should probably finish our breakfast before we begin our day.” Twilight uses her alicorn magic to lifted her sandwich and eats it. Her friends agreed as they finished breakfast for the next five minutes. After everypony got their things together after breakfast, Star Tracker has a backpack filled with chocolate chip cookies he made in his cooking class as he’s ready to leave. Starlight already left to meet her best friend Trixie but Twilight and Spike are still in the castle. “Hey Star Tracker!” Twilight shouted. Star Tracker who stopped from leaving to the front entrance of the castle, turned around. “Yes?” Twilight stopped by him with a letter in her mouth. “I want you to give this to Night Glider once you get there. Spike and I will explain everything once you come back.” She opened his backpack and put her letter inside. “No problem Twilight, I’ll do anything to impress you even when it takes time.” “That’s what I like about you, you never disappoint me when you try.” Twilight hugged him as Tracker does the same. After that he went outside to find Silverstream and Sandbar to make their way to Starlight’s Village. “Twilight.” Spike called which got Twilight’s attention. “Does Night Glider need to know about your plans with Star Tracker?” Twilight blushed a bit. “Well I think his friends should be part of my first Spring activity. It’s mainly the fact I want to show Tracker about the purpose of Spring.” Spike rolled his eyes since he remembered some of the encounters between her and Star Tracker. “Do you really have something you really like about him?” Twilight blushed more after hearing that from Spike. “Sorry but I don’t want to talk about it. But I do need your help for a conversation with him tonight.” “Okay but you might need to talk about your feelings about him sooner.” “Says the dragon who has huge feelings towards my generous and full of fashion best friend.” Twilight retorted which causes Spike’s face to turn flashing red. “She’s an inspirational okay!” “You sung a song about your gift to her, it’s obvious at this point.” Twilight took a deep breath to keep herself relaxed. “My feelings on the other hand are more then he needs to learn about me. And by doing this will improvement his future, he needs this.” She then went back to her room to gather her things for her schedule, leaving Spike in embarrassment in the hallway. “I think our feelings are way too similar. Star Tracker really needs to understand what he’s getting himself in to.” He begin to give himself a facepalm. “And I need to think before I open my mouth.”
