Regarding Rainbow Dash · 4:22am Feb 12th, 2020
Given that my newest story will be featuring both her and Lightning Dust in the leading roles, I thought it was a good time to really delve into why I write Rainbow Dash the way I do.

Hey everyone, sorry it's been a while since I've done anything on the site. I've been just getting a little creative distance between me and my stories on here because, lesbionest guys, I've been writing thousands of words of the same stories for over a year and frankly I needed to do something a little different for a while.
That isn't to say I'm entirely back, but I do have some really good news for those of you who love my magnum opus crackship epic, Featherfall.
Every chapter in Featherfall was a set of lyrics from a song that I listened to while writing the chapter, each one also had some thematic reference to the events in the chapter, and here I'll give you all of them in line in case you all were interested.
Song Name - Artist
Gonna be posting the Epilogue to Featherfall today.
Hope everyone is ready to cry.
Cheers,
I-A-M
I decided not to wait and will be posting both finale chapters simultaneously on Wednesday because after some final rounds of edits I realised they really should be read together, but they're just too damn long to make reasonably into one chapter.
So here we go!
Cheers,
I-A-M
I've decided to do Featherfall's release once per week over the next couple weeks. The first chapter of the finale comes out tomorrow ladies and gentlemen, we are finally here.
That's right folks, we're almost there. I promised to write a blog with a roadmap for the last sections of Featherfall and here it is. The chapter next week is on schedule, but after that I'm going to skip a couple of posts so I have time to write the entire ending which, as currently outlined and planned, will be about three chapters long. I want to take the time to do this so that the full ending gets written pretty much at the same time and can be edited and corrected as a whole,
The next chapter is on its way and I'm making good progress, so now I'm just keeping in touch with ya'll. Since I'm here I had a question for everyone. I didn't see anyone mention it but I was wondering if anyone got the reference that was Zee's screen-name.
It's kind of arcane so I wouldn't be surprised if it went unnoticed, but since it was more of just a private joke with myself and wasn't going to be relevant to the narrative I thought I'd share it with you all.
Alrighty, so like I thought I have been swamped all month, but I do have a tentative date to resume posting. As it stands I intend to post the next chapter on the 16th of January and then resume my usual twice a month postings every other Wednesday.
Tomorrow is gonna be crazy busy and I don't want to forget to post the new chapter so here you all go, a fresh new chapter of Featherfall!
Having read the recent review by PresentPerfect of For However Long I'll admit that my first reaction was to get a little defensive about how I write Gilda, but I know that's a flaw of mine so I stopped and gave it some thought. I realised a few things about myself in doing so, specifically about how I write and my influences therein that I hadn't really consciously been aware of up until now.
No new chapter today since I moved to once every two weeks, but here's something for everyone to tide you over. From the incredible artist who did the cover art for this shameless crack-fic of mine, I give you the the first photo in Sunset's Photo Album.
This Is The First Day Of My Life
I've been giving this a lot of thought and I think for the time being I'll be changing to an update every two weeks, rather than every week. Essentially I've hit the point where I'm writing just off of my outline and notes and have very little pre-written. Rather than try to rush to hit an arbitrary deadline I want to really make sure of the quality of my story as it heads into its third and final arc and be certain that it is well written. That said, I'm not planning on writing less, just
So I'll be honest, I really considered not posting this chapter and waiting, giving it more thought, rewriting, and for anyone who has read it already, especially the second half, you'll know what part I'm talking about. If you haven't read it I'll try to keep it spoiler free but just... yeah.
I'll add some space for the sake of not spoiling anything in the preview.
That should be good.
Just a progress update for all you lovely patient people. I'm over being sick, the stupid Release Weekend is almost done, and I'm on track again. There will be an update of Featherfall. I'm realising more and more how much of an ensemble cast this story has become. I'll be honest, it's taken even me a bit by surprise.
Hoenstly can't tell you all how sorry I am, but you guys definitely deserve an explanation. So aside from the fact that, quite literally, I am only just now getting over being sick, I've also had work. Normally, that's not an issue, after all, you all know that I've maintained my writing schedule through work without problem before.
Hey guys, just letting you all know there won't be a chapter update this week. I've been sick for the past several days and fallen well behind on writing and editing, so rather than risk screwing up my usual schedule and writing habits, I've decided to take the week off. Posts will resume the week following, sorry again for the let down.
I'm posting this mostly because I know I'm going to get some complaints about how I will be portraying Sci-Twi in Featherfall, believe me I know. Partly I know this because Sci-Twi is sort of an 'everyones waifu' kind of character. The 'sweet cinnamon roll too pure for this world' character.
I hate those characters.
You know what that means... NEW CHAPTER.
This one is a monster, by the way. Have fun.
