The End Is Nigh · 2:40pm Apr 3rd, 2019
That's right folks, we're almost there. I promised to write a blog with a roadmap for the last sections of Featherfall and here it is. The chapter next week is on schedule, but after that I'm going to skip a couple of posts so I have time to write the entire ending which, as currently outlined and planned, will be about three chapters long. I want to take the time to do this so that the full ending gets written pretty much at the same time and can be edited and corrected as a whole, rather than piecemeal.
And I know the wait is going to suck, but I promise it will be worth it. I will be giving my best effort on this stuff, and I hope all of you will be satisfied with the ending. With that said, I will also be writing at least one epilogue chapter, potentially more, following up on the girls and their lives after the events of Featherfall, so there's that to look forward to as well.
Amidst that wait, however, I have something of a gift for you all, assuming any of you want this. I have a small side project I've been editing and writing here and there when I've got some off time and want to write something other than Featherfall for a change of pace, and I will be posting that up during the intervening period.
Fair warning to all: this story was my effort in flexing my 'smut' muscles you all saw in Chapter 7, and I know what you're all thinking.
Weird flex, but okay.
Sunnybuns is gonna be gettin' some on the regular in this new shorter story, so if that ain't your cup of tea, I totally understand, but I hope you all give it a shot at least, remember this is still me we're talking about. I don't write Porn-Without-Plot, I don't think I can, but I'll give you all a preview of it here.
If Sunset hadn't been on a dry spell for eight months, she probably would never have agreed to Rainbow's idea, but after going so long without anyone else in her bed a strip club sounded like a decent night out with her friend. Of course, the name: The Last Note should have tipped her off, and it turns out to be run by an annoyingly familiar trio of young women, and when a plan to keep on Sunset's good side, involving a little seduction and a touch of friendly blackmail, goes sideways Sunset and the most belligerent member of the trio will be faced with a problem.
What happens when the woman who took your magic also turns out to be your perfect match? What happens when your one-time nemesis proves to be your ideal partner? And will either of them survive the inferno? Will Aria be too much for Sunset? Or will Sunset be too much for Aria?
And there you have it! Let me know what you all think!
Cheers,
I.A.M.
Okay, I am looking forward to both XD
I'm looking forward to both as well! I'm not looking forward to the wait, but who ever is? I'll wait until the full ending is out for Featherfall, and then i'll just do one massive re-read. Make a night out of it, ya know?
Anyway, keep up the epic work!
Both look interesting can’t wait to see them
Thanks for the update. :)
Huh. Well, I plan to give it a chance, at least! Not sure if I'll do the same sort of error-spotting for it I've been doing for Featherfall, but we'll see.

I wouldn’t ask it, I will always appreciate you though.

Heh, thanks. :)
Oh, by the way, do you have any idea whether you'll be at Bronycon?
*neigh.
The end is neigh. This is a horse fandom.
It’s gonna be sooo AWESOME!
