Alright, story time.
This weekend, I eliminated over half of my Wishlist on Steam, when I realized that they had been in Early Access for more than two years. But one title came out of Early Access and made full 1.0 release last week, and has been getting 8's and 9's all around. Subnautica, an underwater survival game.
After a four-day hiatus, returned to Subnautica a couple nights ago, and successfully constructed the Prawn Exosuit and the 175-foot Cyclops submarine, which means I can now access nearly the deepest parts of the game.
I really wish that picture did my first deep dive with the sub justice. But it doesn't.
In preparation for my fic I have made a group. Apparently it's the only one...

Started Subnautica on Hardcore Difficulty last night after beating Dead Space 3. Like many other Hardcore modes, it's one life only.
Three hours in, on the way out from the first alien building, THIS glitches inside the building, in the way of my only way out:
Tried running passed, got brushed against a wall, died. Four hours, gone.
Well, with the Neptune rocket completed, my second playthrough of Subnautica was all but completed. But before I left, I wanted to toy around with the Alien Containment in my base, where I could breed these sea creatures in captivity. If they are hatched and grown in captivity and released in the wild, they are not aggressive towards the player.
But that doesn't mean things got... Chaotic.
If anyone is getting sick of GTA or the FetishVerse or Pinkamena or Kyra or Queen Of The Netherworld (wait, what’s that one?), then I got some good news!
I have another fic in the works that I’m super inspired about and already have almost 1,000 words for chapter one.
This one will be Teen-rated as well so if you haven’t been able to read any of my stuff due to being underage then you’re welcome ^_^

At 43.5 hours, I have completed Subnautica.
No screenshots this time to avoid spoilers for those interested (I was quite flattered to hear one user here actually purchased the game due to the content of my blog entries), but I'd like to share some final thoughts.

Is there a Subnautica/My Little Pony crossover? I would love to read one if there is and of there ain't I want to write one.
If you don't own this, get it. Best survival game ever made, hands down.
Why? It actually not only has a story, but its got a good story, and you don't (quite) have the metabolism of a field-mouse with an over-active thyroid. Both problems otherwise endemic to the genera.

For those worried hat I might drop this, or pull a PINK and wait a couple years before getting back to it, I have already started chapter 2 and it now sits at around 300 words. ^_^
