Review: Hail, Caesar! (2016) · 9:35pm Jun 21st, 2016

I can now say, with much pride and satisfaction, to have seen every single feature length film that the Coen Brothers have made.

I finish my dauntless trek through their filmography with this, their seventeenth, and most recent feature, which plays as a laid back, droll self deprecating look at the mighty dream factory that was Hollywood at the very heights of the storied Studio Area.

Julius Caesar · 10:26pm May 14th, 2021

Gaius Julius Caesar: "Caesar once, seeing some wealthy strangers at Rome, carrying up and down with them in their arms and bosoms young puppy-dogs and monkeys, embracing and making much of them, took occasion not unnaturally to ask whether the women in their country were not used to bear children; by that prince-like reprimand gravely reflecting upon persons who spend and lavish upon brute beasts that affection and kindness which nature has implanted in us to be bestowed on those of our own

Chapter 10 Excerpt - Fallout Equestria: Letters to Celestia

"I looked up at the Zebra on the throne again. He was still smiling. I felt a wave of hatred boil through me and my eyes narrowed into a glare. I spit at him, my saliva was red with blood and the spittle drooped down his cheek, staining his white fur. Much like my attack, he remained unmoved. He reached up and casually wiped the spittle away before leaning back in his chair and taking on a relaxed posture.

My modest proposal for an official sequel to Fallout: Equestria · 6:56pm Jun 12th, 2018

After the series finale of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Kkat could write a sequel to Fallout Equestria. Imagine that Littlepip (aka The Stable Dweller) and her friends find and perfect Star Swirl the Bearded’s time travel spell. They travel back in time to one year before Twilight Sparkle completes with success her entrance exam for Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. They then setup a conference for both Princess Celestia and the Zebra Caesar.

Test Scenes For Future Project. · 5:15pm Nov 17th, 2022

Something I have been wanting to do in the future.

No real base foundation yet, just an idea for the future maybe. Not working on this actively, but I thought you might enjoy these small scenes I made for fun.

This takes place in an Equestria where the princesses were overthrown by the nobles, the mane six splitting up, and the princess of the sun and moon locked away in a vault to keep the day and night going.

Pardon my dust, it has been a while since I last posted one of these. Been spending far too much time doing things that matter far less and feel very ephemeral in retrospect.

But no matter! Time to get cracking.

Today’s stories:

Petriculture by Kwakerjak
Acquiesce by HoofBitingActionOverload
Ditzy Doo’s Dismally Derpy Day by CLAVDIVS CAESAR

Recommended Story Reviews #14 – Dinky Debates Dexterity, Destiny and Dinner; Tunnel of Love; “Princest is Wincest,” It Said; All the Mortal Remains; Home Grown · 11:05pm Dec 24th, 2016

It is almost Christmas, and that means that it is time for me to get off my butt and get people stuff to read for the holidays. I have been remiss in getting review sets posted; hopefully the rapidly approaching end of the year will encourage me to get more done.

This is a rather eclectic set of stories in some ways, but in another way, all but one of them manages to capture a lovely little sentiment. I wonder if you can guess which one that is from the titles?
