I got bored tonight and decided to mathematically reconstruct a 3D model of the Crystal Heart as of S6E1 ("The Crystalling - Pt. 1"). It's 3D printable, scaled to 'actual size' (near as anyone can tell, at any rate), and took me about 2 hours to make, mainly because I had to calculate a bunch of lengths and angles using 2D projection. The center black diamond-thingy is actually a dark purple, but rendered grey no matter what render settings I chose.

...of which I found in a thrift store, and later found out dated back to the 1970s. Pretty neat that it still works.

I've got a hunk of textbook next to me, and I've already done a few practice renders in Blender. It's mostly just a jumbled mess of edited cubes and monkey faces for now, but it' something.

I'm just internally wondering how long it'll take me before I can get into the pony stuff.

Gonna use this thing to do more 3D rendering stuffs. I'ma install this in my thrift-store workstation so that I don't have to worry about crashing my main system whenever I want to render a heavy scene. At least that way I can still work on homework and essays while things are happening in the background.

Also, it took 18 hours to render on the hardware I have. So yeah.

I realized after it finished rendering that the wall was too thin, making the windows look a bit... weird.
