PINKIE'S CAKE OMG!!!!
A list of things I'm catching/paying attention to on repeat viewings:
- Dean Cadance doesn't have the crown-shaped cowlick Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna have.
- Spike was playing with the same blue rope-bone toy the other Spike was playing with near the end of Rainbow Rocks.
- Twilight's birthday is apparently a few weeks after the Friendship Games. (I might need to do something with that...)
- Midnight Sparkle's horn is a CHANGELING horn.
So during a long afternoon of thunderstorms, I've been entertaining myself by extruding that stinger from Friendship Games into Seinfeldian conversations between the Rainbooms and the two Twilights.
Fun fact: 80% of my fanfic ideas come from me talking to myself in bed while trying to sleep/sick/watching the weather be bad.
Anyway, I had a thought, which I may or may not do something with at some point, but I wanted to share it regardless:
FRIENDSHIP GAMES SPOILERS BELOW!!!
Well, just watched Friendship Games with Brady.
Overall, I consider it to be the weakest of the trilogy, plot-wise and music-wise, but there are certainly enough individual moments to make it worthwhile, and more or less is an enjoyable ride.
When your 2016 DLC beats out the competition's 2016 full releases.
Witcher 3: Blood and Wine beat out Dark Souls 3 and Dues Ex: Mankind Divided for Best RPG at The Game Awards.
Doom took Best Music.
Forza Horizon 3 took Best Racer.
Overhyped took Game of the Year, Best Multiplayer, Best Game Design, etc.
when I find mlp easter eggs like
(okay, not much of an easter egg, but still, its A CRYSTAL, UNICORN, PONY)
and
so this is how I feel
"So....*smacks his partners arm* it was a bear?"
"....In a HAT! *passes out*"
"*tries to take his partners drink before knocking himself out*"
Good god this movie went way beyond my expectations. Lets start off at the first thing I loved about it, the way that they showed the Human Twilight. I felt like a real time loop of her not knowing about friendship like in the first episode of Season 1, and no I don't count the first Equestria girls movie saying its also similar (Lets never talk about it).
A review of Splatterhouse for the TurboGrafx 16 was just posted from Retro Corner. In a time before Doom and Mortal Kombat would making headlines for their gory content, there were a few games that manged to get released during the late 80's that would be considered mature rated. This was Splatterhouse, a game that originally was released for the arcade in 1989 and was known for its gore and use of certain religious material that wasn't seen in gaming before during that time.
Holy fuck. If there's one thing to learn from this show, it's this: DO NOT GET ATTACHED TO CHARACTERS!!! Because usually they'll end up dead.
Uh... Um... I'm speechless... Too many cliffhangers... But... I don't... Uh... I'm gonna need some time... Yeah... Because... Yeah...
Just wanted to share this, mainly because I've gotten really, really hooked on this game in the past few months...
- Of the base roster characters, I like playing as Sub-Zero and Scorpion the most. They're iconic fighters with pretty intuitive controls and some stylish powers. Liu Kang and Johnny Cage are close seconds after that; took me a bit to settle into a good groove with the monk's fighting style. Strangely I also kind of like Baraka too...
I also love the background music.
Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.
Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.
Horizon: Forbidden West (PC Version)

Trying to help spread this around. My friends Thunder Rider, Midnight Master, and I designed a little pony-based party game.
It’s time for Tabletop Report! For the uninitiated, Tabletop Report is a new series chronicling the adventures of my DnD group as I run them through a custom campaign and ruleset based off of Microsoft’s Gears of War universe.
