Well, I was bit by the G5 bug to write something based on the movie so I wrote am idea for a 'deleted scene' that I thought came out not too bad for something so short. Hasbro took a step back from the Disney logic of "Princess=Good, Queen=Evil" in the latter stages of Friendship is Magic, as well as G5.

After eight episodes, I look at Opaline and wonder who's going to write her better; the showrunners or the fans.

So far she's reminded me of the Stepmother from Cinderella, the Queen from Snow White, and Mother Gothel from Tangled.

Yup, there really is paranoia and mistrust in Equestria. I saw a screenshot that in Izzy's homeland, 4 of the Mane 5 have to wear unicorn horns. Also, Pipp and Zipp have to hide their wings.
