I need a second opinion about something, what would be the best thing to write about, or to practice write?

A story about 6 friends (2 unicorns, 2 earth ponies and 2 pegasi) on a crazy weird trip to Las Pegasus (trying to NOT make it sound generic).

A story about a young colt lost in the unknown wilderness with nothing but a hatchet, a torch and a Labrador Retriever as help.

I've been in a rut. My two Pokemon fanfictions are coming along extremely slowly, though I enjoy them both.

I need a bit of variety to things up, and bring back my motivation. Throw any of your random ideas at me!!

My first set of stories featured a large set of OC's which came to be some of my favorite creations (even though only 4 people know about them)

My brain scrambles a whole lot.

I want to write a story about ponies (and other creatures) such as Derpy Hooves, Tempest Shadow, OCs like Snowdrop, and others who aren't like most. And how they tend to probably be treated differently. I'd like to know some ponies and or OCs that might be good for this story and how I could potentially use them (they have a different look or something) in my story.
