My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Season 7 Episode 8: "Hard to Say Anything" (SPOILERS) · 3:43pm May 27th, 2017
In which every Big Mac ship ever is ruthlessly blown out of the water.
In which every Big Mac ship ever is ruthlessly blown out of the water.
Despite the fact it's airing on a day when my time will be filled completely with a combination of Brony meet and travelling for Easter, I'm very happy that Friendship is Magic is returning to our screens with new episodes very shortly. The fandom has felt very quiet at times since Cutie Re-Mark aired just over a three & half months ago, and although we've had a slow trickle of the usual art, music and animations, and endless blind-reactions to watch of the previous season, I
With this episode, another character's series-long dreams and goals are realized, as Rainbow Dash finally becomes a Wonderbolt. Was it worth the wait? Let's find out.
But first, a quick note on last week's episode I forgot to mention: Trixie's show posters are kind of...really creepy.
Hope you all have a good one!
Edit* Almost forgot a song!
Zipp flies to the Lighthouse and back for no reason.
Everypony is sucking up to the future Queen.
Hitch destroys the road just to form a loop for Zipp.
Izzy overcame her banana-phobia.
She doesn't even bother to peel them.
If it was an order, why isn't the Princess paying for the smoothie?
Zipp almost falls in the water with an electronic device that would electrocute her to death.
In which Celestia can't act her way out of a wet paper bag.
In which Zecora gets sick, Fluttershy's thick, and Twilight's muffins don't make the pick.
So we have a Spike episode this week, and it comes with a moral about tolerance and acceptance.
Can Spike and this random Changeling drone wash away the stench of the last two episodes? Let's. Find. Out.
Remember Starlight Glimmer? Remember how she's a thing that's part of the show now?
Remember how the writers pretty much forgot all about that?
Well...here's your goddamn Starlight Glimmer episode!
Twilight FINALLY gets summoned by the map!
I don't really have much to say about this one. It was a pure feels episode with a moral about being true to yourself. It was touching, it was low-key, there was almost no comedy.
Next week is the season finale.
You know, this season's gonna be really confusing on Netflix, with so many episodes being shown out of production order...
Anyway, Rarity pulls a hat trick today with the third episode in a row that focuses on her, even though this episode is actually a Rarity/Applejack episode.
With the return of Coco Pommel!
Twilight's so bored she's blowing raspberries at books. That's wacky.
Poor Twilight got snubbed by the map again.
Rarity's having a citygasm!
I feel this may be the last season. We get a lot of messages of change, such as Twilight getting a student, the cutie mark crusaders evolving, and I feel it is going be like this quite a bit. I am happy about this, and a little sad I won't lie, I'll have one less thing to complain about if I'm right. Yes I can always complain about family guy but wheres the variety if I lose all the shows I like to complain about?!
Preface: Because of the iTunes leak a while back, most of us have already seen this episode. As such, this will be slightly different and slightly more detailed than my usual stream-of-consciousness write-ups.
I'MMA BOUT TO DROP A BOMB ON YOU GUYS! SPOILERS FOR SEASON 6!!!!
So there's a new season 7 promo running on DFC. Took a bit for someone to get this up on Derpibooru, but:
Apparently this is from S7E03. Looks like this is a pretty wacky episode. I can't wait for the context on this one.
Equivalent exchange. To obtain something, something equal must be lost. That is alchemy's first law. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth...
So the hiatus is apparently ending a little sooner than expected.
Season 5 episode 14 will air on September 12, followed by S5E15 the following week.
